We eat at the New American Grill just about every time we are in Londonderry, VT, which is pretty regularly because we have a vacation house nearby and ski locally. We have never been disappointed with the food or service at the Grill. If you're there at lunch time and you like mac'n'cheese, try theirs - they make it with... More

First timers in Londonderry and at this restaurant...and won't be the last. My wife had the best pan seared scallops served over a variety of fresh greens and seared fennel. I chose the pork chop, thick and tender, with onion apple glaze, accompanued by baby boiled potatoes and lightly steamed mixed fresh vegetables. If offered, try the broccoli cheddar soup...cheddar... We have been to this restaurant quite often and it is a favorite of mine (and my son's). The mac and cheese is delicious, the Caesar salad is great, the daily special flatbread specials are always good but our favorite part is dessert -- peanut butter pie. We typically do not order dessert at a restaurant but we make an... More

They start us with a basket of yummy warm bread (ours was refilled throughout the meal). I ordered the chicken burrito. It was not only artfully presented, but it was huge and delicious for it not being a Mexican Restaurant. It came with a side of lettuce and chopped tomatoes and a little bowl of great salsa. The sauces drizzled... More

We can start by telling you how great Nate, our server, was- I wish I could magically transport him to every single restaurant I'm going to eat in this year! Attentive, polite, funny- Whoever hired him was very smart! This was our 2nd time eating here: Food was exactly as described, good portions (the burrito & flatbread apps were very... More

This restaurant has a very wide range of food choices. Our group had Thai stir-fry, Tex-Mex and American food. All were good and the portions were substantial. The prices were high, though. The service was also rather slow, especially considering the place was not at all crowded. We were told that it typically takes 20 minutes to prepare an order,... More

Douglas, I am bummed to hear that your experience at my restaurant was not satisfactory. As I am sure you can read from other reviewers, we typically receive positive feedback from diners. While I am glad that you enjoyed the food, I apologize for the length of time you felt was inexcusably long. There are a myriad of reasons why... More

We were recommended by our hotel, got there and the woman who greeted us was the most rude waitress I have ever encountered. When there was a wait we asked if we could wait and have a drink, her response being "if the other waitress has time.." Oh i'm sorry, didn't want to inconvenience you at all! It turned out... More

As Chef/Owner, I am disturbed by your review in more ways then one. Obviously, it is imperative to the continued success of our business that we provide an enjoyable experience for as many guests as we possibly can. There are evenings in the summer when, even after 10 years of business, customer counts eclipse the forecasted business estimates and tax... More
