We visited this pub often in the past week while staying at the Inn (see separate review of Inn at Long Trail). Our first visit was after a very long and exhausting 5 day hike in the beautiful mountains that surround this area. Owen greeted us with a smile and poured us the perfect Guinness. During this visit we met... More

Though the bar might be nice and the service was pleasant the food was very disappointing. Of the four items served one was just ok, a burger with cheese. The other items nachos, slightly warmed, chicken Cesar salad, with wilted lettuce and barely cooked chicken and a plain burger that looked like a frozen patty tossed on the grill to... More

My boyfriend and I stopped in out first night staying in the area. The restaurant itself has lots of interesting decor. My boyfriend ordered a traditional cheeseburger and fries and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered the Guinness beef stew and it was delicious!!! The bread that came with was delicious too! Definitely a great pale to stop if looking for... More

Belly up to the bar at this fine Irish pub and Owen will shake your hand and ask your name. His hospitality makes this a special place, particularly on Friday or Saturday evening when live music brings a full house to the cozy restaurant carved into the rocky mountain. The Irish soda bread dessert is the ideal way to top... More

Interesting place with unusual decor. Food was great, fun atmosphere. Service was very good by bartender. A few Irish beers on tap, and more Irish whiskeys on the back bar than you can shake a shillelagh at. Be sure to look around the public areas of the Inn, too. Would like to stay here some day, and just be able... More

Great food!!! Owen was our server and he didn't steer us wrong! Food was delicious and hospitality was warm and inviting. Interesting décor...lots to check out while you are waiting (not long) for your piping hot food to arrive! The structure was built around the local rocks and boulders, and they've incorporated them into the décor. Very cool!! Definitely a... More

Love this pub. The Bar tenders are friendly and personable, and remember patrons' names. It has a very good selection of Irish Whiskeys, and best of all, they pour a perfect pint of Guinness.

McGrath's is a great pub for casual dining. The atmosphere is super friendly and relaxing. The food is delicious. The Irish stew, shepherd's pie, and corned beef sandwiches are the best I've had (can you tell I'm Irish?). The service is outstanding! If you are ever in the Killington area, stop in and eat here. You will love it.

McGrath's has that true Irish pub atmosphere, it's dark, cozy and lively with a good selection of beers. The service was excellent all night long and the waitress was pretty much working most of the tables by herself. We had the Shepherd's Pie and the Corned Beef and Cabbage. Both were hot and had excellent flavor. We then shared a... More
