Wonderful ambience, terrific food, and great music on weekends. This is what an true Irish Pub looks like. Unique location on Vermont's Long Trail you'll be blown away by the huge rock ledge extending from the outside into the bar. Shepherd's Pie, Irish Stew, and Guinness make it the perfect apres' ski experience.

We went there on a snowy Tuesday evening in January and the place was nearly empty. The food is good and the decor is authentic. From the outside I was skeptical but it is truly an excellent place for dinner.

Rustic feel pub connected to the Inn on Long Trail. We stopped there after dinner to enjoy the music. The pub was packed when we got there on a Friday evening. Music was hearty, crowd was cheerful! a good place to relax after a day on the slop.

Guinness on tap. Guinness stew. Fast, pleasant service. We never pass through without stopping. It has atmosphere, great food and cold beer.

We went back to McGrath’s because we liked the Guinness stew so much our first time. By now ski season is well under way and the restaurants are more crowded. We walked into McGrath’s and it was full. There were only a few people waiting, so we decided to stick around and wait for a table. I asked the server... More

After a long day skiing we just wanted a laid back place to hang out, chow down some good food without breaking the bank, and have a couple of beers. TripAdvisor pointed us to McGrath and a conversation with the Killington Grand front desk confirmed this is the place the locals like to hang out and although it’s off the... More

Good drinks, yum food, great atmosphere, friendly people, decent live music on weekends, close to Pico. The reviews are true!

McGrath's is a casual restaurant & tavern with a distinctive dining area that is very snug. It offers diners amazing Irish fare and a full bar. The food quality is superb and the portion size generous. However, the menu is limited. We really enjoyed the Shepherd's Pie and the Guinness Stew with homemade Irish soda bread served as a side.... My husband and I look forward to visiting this Irish pub everytime we go skiing up at Killington. They often have live musicians playing the perfect blend of light Irish music coupled with familiar songs. Last night, we sat at the bar and bartenders Owen and Bob were so attentive and friendly. I got the award winning Steak & Guinness... More

What's better than a Guinness? Only a Guinness with a clover imprinted on the foam (see picture). Nice touch, Bob! I was up with a friend for some early season skiing and we had heard about McGrath's. Reviews say that the Guinness Stew and Shepherd's Pie are the top dishes. When I tried to ask Bob the bartender/server which of... More
