Decent food. Good music.

This pub is located inside the Long Trail Inn near the Killington ski resort. The food is decent Irish bar fare and includes such things as Guinness beef stew, shepherds pie, pluS burgers and sandwiches. I had a corned beef sandwich which was delicious. There was a band playing Irish music which... read more

The Irish Pub is part of the Inn at Long Trail. An excellent Irish Pub. I love the clutter of pictures and artifacts strewn through the room, the heavy wood bar, and the wall of solid granite in the back of the pub. The inn looks very quaint and I wouldn't mind staying here (note for next time). Service was... More

A lovely dinner was had there recently. Live Irish music was being played. The food was surprisingly good pub grub. Definitely a locals favorite. Very cozy for a cold snowy night with a great selection of whiskeys.

There is a pub and dinning area each with its own menu. We were in the dinning area I had a Hamburger and my girlfriend had Mushroom Risotto both were good. One thing I'm a 6'4 and not overweight but I really was not comfortable at the table because my legs a would hit it. Overall food, service, atmosphere we... More

We keep coming back every time we're in Killington as this place is just great! Low-key bar, great live music, and excellent food. The french onion soup has a huge piece of tasty bread topped with a big ol' melt of cheese. The irish bread plate is super tasty, and you can't go wrong with their grilled cheese, either! Great... A fun place near the mountain for après ski. Service extremely friendly and accommodating. But the food is just ok. Cheddar Guinness soup really a disappointment. The chicken add ons for nachos, pasta and salad was processed -- not real chicken breast. However sandwiches were great. Service makes up for so so food!

We got a room at the Long Trail Inn which is attached to this restaurant. When we arrived and asked the innkeeper where we should go to dinner, the guy looked at us like we were crazy - especially since the meal came with our room. We thought he was just being frugal - I mean, free meal, right? Anyway,... More

Based on reviews, we went. I don't understand how this could be the number one restaurant in killington. The food wasn't horrible, just basic, including their famous stew. Very disappointing was their cornbeef sandwich which only had 2 slices of cornbeef. Also, the restaurant was freezing, almost every patron had their jacket on. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Wonderful ambience, terrific food, and great music on weekends. This is what an true Irish Pub looks like. Unique location on Vermont's Long Trail you'll be blown away by the huge rock ledge extending from the outside into the bar. Shepherd's Pie, Irish Stew, and Guinness make it the perfect apres' ski experience.

We went there on a snowy Tuesday evening in January and the place was nearly empty. The food is good and the decor is authentic. From the outside I was skeptical but it is truly an excellent place for dinner.
