The duck, eat the duck. A dish you will certainly finish. The serving portions are the size of what an Average-earthlink-regular-human being should eat. Do not expect to have left overs for the next day. You are paying for quality not size. exquisite

Living in town, we eat here on occasion, the occasion this time being Killington Restaurant Week to take advantage of the special pricing for select dishes. With the dining room full last night, we ate at the bar and enjoyed excellent food, great service, and catching up with old friends. Birch Ridge is clearly the best restaurant on the Killington... During a recent stay here, we dined in the restaurant one night and enjoyed our exclusive evening of personal service by our friendly, attentive waitress and the excellent chef, as we were the only patrons on that Tuesday night. Nothing was left out, from a nice table setting to timely presentation of the food. My husband's steak and my generous... More

My husband and I ate here on July 23rd. Because it is summer, we had the restaurant pretty much to ourselves. The waitress was right on point. the food was phenomenal. We each started with a salad...I had the wilted spinach salad and Steve had the Caesar. For dinner, I had the veal marsala and he had the NY strip,... More

Dining room intimate and serene. Server (Asia) skilled, unhurried but attentive. Spinach salad, a generous portion, perfectly warm and fresh (how they do this in mid-winter I don't know). Neither it nor the rest of the meal was overly salted. My mother's rack of lamb was cooked to pink perfection, beautifully presented and large enough to take half home. My... More

We ate here for New Year's Eve and the food was absolutely delicious. The meal was pre fixe, so we were able to have lobster tail over sea bass and a seared veal dish as our entrees. For starters we had the scallops and mulligatawny soup. When you go, you can always trust that the food will always be great... More

Birch Ridge Inn is a nice inn with great period rooms but the winner is the friendly staff and the quality of their food. Had a great meal with a good friend celebrating his 70th birthday- 30 or so of us for dinner, with a great selection- swordfish, duck, beef, lamb- and a vegetarian option! Well prepared, the servers were... More

From the moment you are cheerfully greeted while walking through the entryway door into this delightful little restaurant and inn, you can feel the pride and joy that emanates from the from this inn's keepers and staff. Prior to dinning, you can snuggle up to the large roaring fireplace of this traditional A-frame bar/lounge with a cocktail to help shake... More

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. That was the only good part. First, we were told we would be eating in the bar. The chairs were VERY uncomfortable for eating a meal. The bartender/wait staff seemed bothered by us and unfriendly. I would call her cordial. The food was cold when it arrived and definitely not worth the price... More

My favorite restaurant got flooded out and the Birch Ridge Inn was recommended. I ate in the bar but it wasn’t like eating in a bar. it was more like being a guest in Mike and Mary’s home. I was welcomed by both. By the time I left it felt as though we were friends. I had a salmon dish.... More
