This is our favorite restaurant in Killington! We were a bit skeptical about the portion sizes after reading the reviews here but we were pleasantly surprised! The roasted garlic and bread were perfect after a day on the slopes. The garlic and potato soup was the most delicious soup I have ever had. My husband had the Osso Bucco and... more

We ordered the chiken-sausage day special and the clams linguinis. The dishes were very delightful, they were served with salad, hot crispy bread and whole grilled garlic clove. The wine was served in a portuguese rooster recipient, very funny ! The day special dish is announced on a lasagna; very original ! The server was very friendly and helpful, the... more

The Garlic is a really cute restaurant with a great ambiance and it seems like it works for both small and large groups. The kitchy Italian surroundings and the large candle wax scupltures add a nice touch. I was a bit surprised by the prices - they seemed more appropo to NYC than to VT. The signature roasted garlic with... more

I really like Garlic and I understand the markup for apres ski (and tapas), but you really don't get a lot of food for your money here. This is a great place to go out if you want to be out, but not if you want a big meal. Better to eat somewhere else, wind up here for a drink... more

Out of three restaurants I visited in Killington, The Garlic was my least favorite. I had a hard time deciding how to rate the restaurant because of my mixed opinions. The atmosphere was very inviting, and had a lot of character, and the service was very good, and above all, the food was delicious (it's true that you smell garlic... more

The only good thing about the place was the service, the waiter was there when we needed something maybe a little too much (the place was empty, an empty parking lot should have told me something). The prices were way too expensive for the amount and quality of the food. Almost everything had fish and mushrooms (the 2 things I... more

After a tough day on the overly full Mt. we had to wait about 15 minutes and wade through a few drunk folks. but once we got seated, it was heaven. They start you out with warm fresh bread and a hot garlic bulb to eat it with. The bartending is spot on and I had a wedding stew that... more

We ate here after being turned away from somewhere else that was closed. I am a big pasta fan and the pasta I had here was great. The restaurant itself is really nice we sat in a booth and the service was really good. We didnt have starters but went straight for main courses. My husband had a steak and... more

This was recommended to us by the Comfort Inn where we stayed. We visited a couple of other places in the very quiet area on a Sunday afternoon/night. We decided to go into the Olive Bar and check out the menu. It was fabulous! I loved the tapas idea so we could try a little of this and a little... more

Again we only stopped at Garlic to take advatage of the happy hour 2 for 1 tapas. It was fantastic. We ordered the scallops with parma ham & prawn stuffed with crab. As with any deal they will deduct the cheapest free, you so may wish to be judicious with your choices and yes we did end up choosing the... more
