They describe themselves as an Italian roadhouse... that's fairly accurate, it's traditional italian fare in a very causal atmosphere. Menu choices when we were there had been scaled back until the busier summer season started. For a starter we ordered the bruschetta, which was freshly made and nicely spiced, served up in a bowel with crostini's for dipping. The 2... More

Could not have found a better place for Italian food! We stopped in on a Thursday night and all of the dinners were $13.00 including the specials. Excellant martinis great wine selection. Matt the waiter was knowledgable, and very personable. He made our dining experience pleasurable. Ask for Matt if you chose to dine at The Garlic. Loved the fresh... More

We loved the bread served with roasted garlic cloves. The Greek side salads were good, but we were caught off guard by an extremely hot pepper. The entrees were extremely large portions and good, but not exceptional. The prices were a litlle high given the quality of the meal, service, and surroundings.

Judging from the other reviews... the dish washer must have prepared my dinner yesterday ! Aside from the bread & roast garlic every dish was prepared badly. Osso bucco was tough & dried out (improperly reheated) Ceasar salad was a joke (bottled dressing) Puttanesca sauce seemed to come from a jar. this was olive garden quality food for 100 dollars... First off let me just say that I've been eating food for about 28 years. In these 28 years , I've come to appreciate good quality food at great prices. This place is not that , especially the prices. The prices on the menu are of a high-end fancy restaurant ( 18-30$ a plate ) , and you get in... More

We were a party of 5 and everyone was happy with everything. Delicious fresh bread with the signature garlic, steaks cooked perfectly and starters were excellent. If you have limited time in Killington this is he spot.

Awesome selection of Vermont craft beers. Plenty of space at the adjoining bar. I liked the appetizers more than my entree. I ordered the Salmon special (roasted potatoes were uber salty). So your experience may vary. Overall I had a pleasant time and will come back.

We were impressed with the breadth of the menu. The bread and roasted garlic that they serve after taking your order was unusual and excellent. I enjoyed the eggplant parm, although the meatballs I ordered as a side were good, but unremarkable. My GF ordered a special sausage and mushroom dish over pasta that she also thoroughly enjoyed...the pasta was... More

I ate from the tapas menu at the bar. The food was fine, I had the ahi, which was very bland until I stirred it around into the sauce in the bottom of the bowl. It also had the spongy texture that told me it had been frozen at some point. The (2 pieces) crab cakes were small, but flavorful,... More
