I loved the concept of the Tapas. Getting to try so many different things at reasonable prices. Everything we had was excellent. Some of our favorite Tapas were the Crab cakes, the chipotle rubbed ribs and the meatball special. We had a great hot dip that was also excellent. They served this with fresh warm bread, olive oil and roasted... More

The service and food were exceptional. Had dinner one night and tapas the next. Will go back next time we are in Killington. We ate at Peppino's another night and would not recommend it unless you love Olive Garden.

I am very undecided on how I feel about this experience, the food was fresh and well cooked. But kind of boring they relied on olive oil and garlic basically as the overiding flavors. I had a salmon steak with olive oil soaked potato and a really nice cooked tomato. The tomato was the star, I love tomatoes but that's... More

We keep going back because our daughter enjoys it as a send-off right before camp, but it's just OK. Good pre-dinner bread, but entrees are hit-or-miss. The steak and lamp "lollipops" were good (but super pricey), the pasta and meatballs was fine, but my pesto dish was horrible (oily, overcooked) and the "bruschetta" was worse -- big chunks of bad... Great wine list, great beer list, great cocktail list. The clams bianco were outstanding. Salads, ok. Roasted garlic and bread were delicious, but don't eat it all, because the entrees are very good, and quite large. Puttanesca was flavorful, salmon perfectly cooked. Skip the meatballs, you won't miss them. Excellent service. Appropriately priced for value.

Better than expected, with some original touches. Great draft beer list representing all the craft breweries in Vermont (not Harpoon). The bread is served hot hot, with mashed baked garlic and balsamic vinegar--the waitress showed us how, but you can mix it yourself to your taste. My Italian wife says the mozzarella in the caprese is better than what we... More

We had one pasta meal at Garlic. I was surprised at the prices considering what was being offered. My dish was advertised as wild mushroom, but they looked and tasted like white or baby Bella. And the meal was over $15. My husband's linguine with little neck clams was delicious, priced at $18.

They describe themselves as an Italian roadhouse... that's fairly accurate, it's traditional italian fare in a very causal atmosphere. Menu choices when we were there had been scaled back until the busier summer season started. For a starter we ordered the bruschetta, which was freshly made and nicely spiced, served up in a bowel with crostini's for dipping. The 2... More

Could not have found a better place for Italian food! We stopped in on a Thursday night and all of the dinners were $13.00 including the specials. Excellant martinis great wine selection. Matt the waiter was knowledgable, and very personable. He made our dining experience pleasurable. Ask for Matt if you chose to dine at The Garlic. Loved the fresh... More

We loved the bread served with roasted garlic cloves. The Greek side salads were good, but we were caught off guard by an extremely hot pepper. The entrees were extremely large portions and good, but not exceptional. The prices were a litlle high given the quality of the meal, service, and surroundings.
