Great Italian food in ski country

We have had our farewell ski dinner at Peppino'sseveral times on our visits to Killington. The servings are always plentiful, tasty and piping hot. The meatballs are extremely good with the right amount of seasonings. On this occasion the staff were very friendly and even took the time to get to... read more

We went last night. It was not dark out yet but it was almost impossible to read the menus. No light at our table, no candle. Had to use a small light to see the menus. We always try calimari. It was served hot w/maranara and lemon wedges. It was good but not special. Entries were 2 specials and 2... More

I enjoy veal, but am hesitant to order it because a tough veal is horrible. Based on the server's response that the veal is tender, we both had veal dishes - parmigiano and Marcella. Both were very good and come with a pasta side. The sauce for the pasta and veal parmigiano was very good. Service was superb.

My friend and I were both in the mood for veal, but we usually find it to be tough at other restaurants, We asked our server (Jeff) and he assured us that the chef has a very tender cut of veal. So we ordered veal dishes – Marsala and Parmigiana – and Jeff was right! The true test is whether... More

Good quality food in an unexpected location. 2 of us had pasta and the 3rd had eggplant parmesan. All were authentic southern Italian at a great price much less at a ski resort. Atmosphere was good as was the service. Highly recommend. Meatballs were as promised.

Our party of 8 dined here on Friday, 2/13/15. I do appreciate that they are one of the only restaurants in Killington that accepts reservations because getting a table for 8 on a holiday weekend is extremely difficult without waiting 1 to 2 hours. Atmosphere is somewhat dreary as the place is dark and decor very dated. The mauve walls... More

Do always call back to confirm your reservation. As so many others tell about, they lost our reservation. However they fixed it, we got a table in a sideroom, since the more central part of the restaurant ironically were for those who had made reservations in advance... The food was ok, the waitor was nice and did his best, a... More

It was the last night of a week ski trip to Killington and the gang of us, about 40, had a traditional Italian family dinner at Peppino's. I don't know about going there to dine alone or as a couple but as a group they did a great job and we had a ton of fun, or maybe a tonne,... More

I thought the food was nothing exceptional. I ordered a veal dish and my vehicle was chewy. And what I asked for what type of pasta I can get I was told I had no choice it was up to the chef. I felt the prices were a bit steep for the amount of food my daughter ordered ziti and... More

Classic Italian at reasonable prices. Good service. Really enjoyed my pork osso bucco. Would go back here.
