First our 15 min. wait turned into an hour wait. We found a flying ant in our filet mignon. Our waiter/manager assured us that they are common in the restaurant. Our steaks were cooked well when we ordered medium-rare temps. The waiter/manager informed us that it was our fault that we did not say something. He asked us how everything... more

The service and atmosphere are really nice; casual, friendly, fun. Unfortunately, the food is just plain awful and well overpriced. We ordered the peel and eat shrimp appetizer. One would normally expect it have sliced the shell a little bit when deveining the shrimp. Nope! The caesar salad had no anchovies and the romaine looked a bit old and was... more

We went for apres ski at Casey's and while it was packed, and definitely "scene" the food and drinks were disappointing. The wings, which used to be free but now cost 25 cents are overly spicy with no flavor. The Calamari was so salty we could not even eat it. And the ($9) nachos were basically a plate of Tostitos... more

My husband and I came here in '90 and '91 and loved it, so, on our recent trip we were excited to return, what a dissapointment! It seems as though it has turned into the proverbial "Tourist Trap" banking on it's "old" good name. The food was okay, but the service, or lack there of, was so bad, we will... more

Oct. 2007 - Last minute we went up to Killington to see the fall foliage. Unfortanately didn't do a little more research and we wound up dining at this joint. As soon as I walked in a bad smell hit me - Should have left then but my husband wanted to give it a try. Got the menu and nothing... more

We sat at the bar for a drink and encountered a very friendly bartender. Everything was nice and cold. It was clean in there and seemed to have lots of patrons. We didn't eat, but did look at the menu. The prices were a little high, but they did offer a bar menu as well. We'd stop again. more

If you are looking for fine dining or gourmet food, Casey's is not the place. We were just looking for someplace to have a bite at the bar and watch a race. The food was fine, nothing special and certainly not bad. The bartender was excellent and the locals were very friendly, more

We ordered the mussel linguine & seafood pasta - both were not good. Mussels & some of the seafood were overcooked. Redeeming features; salads & bread are good, can save ordering & paying for appetizers! We also asked to sit up in the caboose which is cosy and secluded. However these are insufficient redeeming points to save this place. more

To put it simply, the food was almost as bad as the service. To start with, I had to wait fifteen minutes for a table, even though the restaurant was almost completely empty. Then I was offered a seat in the caboose area. This would be fine for kids, or a person shorter than five feet tall, but there was... more

We had a dinner at Casey's Caboose in June when in Killington for a few days of golf. For our whole vacation, we were on the road for 10 days and this was the only bad meal we had the entire trip. We stopped early, 5:00, on a Saturday night; there were only 2 tables in use, but there did... more
