Lobster Dinner was the FEATURE

My husband and I were on a quiet, R&R vaca. We chose a resort in Vermont that's quite beautiful and I'm sure outrageously crowded during the ski season, as Killington is advertized as having the largest number of ski lifts and trails east of the Mississippi. The restaurant had a lobster dinner with... read more

The outdoor seating was wonderful, and the atmosphere inside of the bar area with the games and pool table seemed fun. However, the food was mediocre. It was definitely acceptable, but not fabulous. I had a turkey burger that was good, but I got my meal about 10 minutes after everyone else got theirs. The mojito was pretty good. Overall,... More

Seriously. Amazing burger. Everyone here is very friendly, great beers, but honestly, their burgers are out of this world!

When we came here for dinner, we totally expected it to be some so so bar food. We were, thankfully, very wrong. I had an excellent philly cheesesteak on the porch. it was really nice. Can't wait to come back!

Jax has a crazy, 80's decor, but the beer selection is good and they have (at least through this year) the NFL package (with several televisions) so if you get there early enough, you'll be able to watch your favorite team even if it's not the on the local channels. Aside from Sundays during football season - They do good... More

Nachos, beer and onion soup. Affordable for après ski. Piled high nachos. Onion soup to rival Charity's. Wish I had brought my kids when they were little since there are plenty of game to entertain them

Good live music! Great selection of local beers on tap. My boyfriend has a gluten intolerance, and the waiter was very helpful in figuring out which menu items would be safe. Small town feel bar.

The food is OK but atmosphere is great. This is a good spot to meet locals and have a great time doing so. The seating is tight and limited for dinner but the after dinner fun is outstanding. Everyone was nice and we had a great time.

Showed up with a group of friends around 8:30 and told the kitchen closes at 10 but they couldn't seat us before then. So we all ordered food and had to stand up around the bar to eat which normally wouldn't be a problem if they hadn't removed all the chairs. Otherwise this is a fun spot to drink, meet... More
