Delightfully satisfied

Stumbled upon this restaurant randomly. The staff were attentive and very friendly. They recommended the turkey, roast beef and burger open sandwiches. Damn those were good.

Some friends and I stopped in for lunch one day during our week's stay at Smugglers' Notch. There was a large selection of salads, burgers, sandwiches, etc. Service was a little slow, but we weren't in a rush so we didn't mind. Food was good, especially the Nantucket, a fish sandwich that my friend claimed was the best thing she... More

Went there twice. First time for breakfast which was good. However the Seafood Chowder was amazing and we were told they serve it everyday. Our server was a young male who was super nice and attentive. We went back again for breakfast but they were only serving lunch. We had an older female waitress who was not attentive and it... More

Yes, when this place is busy on a Sunday, be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes for your food. Once it arrives, you will forget about the wait and enjoy an incredible home cooked meal.

We went for a late breakfast on a recent weekend trip to Smuggler's Notch. The restaurant itself feels ancient -- you can feel the floor shift as people walk by, the chairs aren't exactly comfortable, and so on. But the food was above average all around -- including bacon that made the transition to "great" and some french toast that... More

We have to drive 30 minutes to enjoy this restaurant but it's absolutely worth the drive. My only wish is that they opened earlier

When we checked in for the week at Smugglers Notch we asked for some recommendations for dinner since none of the restaurants at Smugglers were open. We decided to try 158 Main. This is a bakery, restaurant, and there is a pizza place on the third floor. When I opened the menu I saw the New England turkey dinner and... More

Most outstanding for its very generous heaps of toppings. Pizza is very good but restaurant is apparently undiscovered though huge inside. There is the main restaurant and bakery downstairs. We didn't go there. I think the amount of toppings is the most piled onto a pizza I've ever seen. They could use a little more sauce, but otherwise excellent pizza.

As a local, we enjoy having a decent eatery in our little village. The food is usually pretty good; the menu is actually quite extensive. The quality of the food is variable though usually good, but occasionally we are served a meal which could have been better prepared. Breaks fats are always top quality. The waitstaff are friendly and helpful.... More
