We love coming here and always stop by whenever we are in the area. This usually happens in the Winter when we go skiing at Smugglers Notch. It is a few minutes own the road and we often go there for a dinner and always stop for a late lunch on the day we travel home. We also take the... More

Excellent food and service. They tend to be packed, so be sure to make reservations if you have a large party. We were 11 on our last day in Vermont, and it was a great ending to a great trip.

We had a large group the two days that we stopped at 158 Main Restaurant & Bakery for breakfast and we were seated right away. There were lots of other people there too. Our waitress was fun and efficient. The food was very good with lots of choices. The bakery upstairs had lots of delicious breads and pastries. We had... More

Size matters...everything here for breakfast is big. My favorite is the Granola Yogurt Parfait with fresh fruit and maple syrup. The grilled maple bread is like a half a loaf of bread that is grilled is a crowd pleaser as well as French Toast. The biscuits and gravy are well made and tasty. We have never been disappointed by their... More

Quick stop for lunch. Good food, fair prices, friendly staff. It was a little chilly but we were dressed from outdoor, adventures so,it did not really bother us... Would return again!

I'm staying at Smugglers Notch and was tired of the awful food here. This restaurant was one of the best dinners I have had in a while. The shepherds pie was perfect. My guests all loved their dishes as well. Servers were fast and friendly. You can't go wrong here.

Was recommended here by Nye's Green Valley Farm B&B innkeepers in town. I ordered Grilled London Broil: top sirloin marinated & grilled, mushrooms and onion gravy, bread, mashed potato, market vegetable, chicken vegetable soup and iced tea. Very good food - cooked just right. Lively atmoshere with people of all ages eating here. Local touch because many of the ingredients... More

The place is a good size and has some character. I had the turkey club. The sandwich was full of freshly cooked turkey, crisp bacon, fresh lettuce and tomato and in this spectacular maple wheat bread. My daughter enjoyed her bbq chicken and my husband got the turkey dinner. The turkey dinner came with a large delicious salad, fresh turkey,... More

Had a dinner here while staying in Jeffersonville. Two local Vermont beers on tap, very good. Shared spinach dip appetizer - delish. My fiance had french onion soup and raved about. I ordered the soup of the day, cheddar potato ale but never received it. I never said a word about it as I was so stuffed! He ordered chicken... More
