We've been here several times and it still sets the standard for the area of smugglers notch. If you come you must eat here. Homemade breads, wonderfully hearty entree's and delectable desserts are the standards here.

My husband had two meals in this quaint old place while in the area. They have a huge breakfast menu, and so it was hard to choose. I had the great French toast with the maple syrup...yum. My husband had the blueberry pancakes, which he enjoyed. We went another day for lunch and enjoyed it as well. I had a... More

My husband and I along with three other couples enjoyed a relaxing evening and a lovely dinner last Saturday evening. We arrived to our reserved table that was set and waiting for us....a very pleasant waitress. Our drinks were brought fairly quickly and our dinner orders were taken. Our soup and salads arrived after about 15 mins...but our entree's were... More

Jeffersonville is a quaint downtown area just down the road from Smuggler's Notch. This restaurant was a special treat with a nice atmosphere. The food was very good and the service was good as well.

Stopped here for a delicious lunch while visiting the area. Lunch was freshly prepared: real roasted turkey sliced right from the bird! So tasty and delicious! Everyone I was with enjoyed their meals and the service is very homey and friendly. You can't go wrong here.

Great food and service. Recommended by a friend from Burlington who states it is one of his favorite place to eat. I had the almond toasted salmond, the others had the shepherd pie. Too full for dessert but took creme brûlée back to our inn and enjoyed latr.

The waitress was very nice, but the service was slow. The food was only average, my eggs were cold which is not at all appetizing. It was an okay place to stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

All 7 of us were very pleased with our dining experience. The food was very good, but the home made bread was amazing. Don't expect a "romantic experience", 158 Main is an everyday kind of place - go for the food and excellent service.

We were four ladies out for lunch, and it was so enjoyable. Erik was our waiter and he was so friendly and playful, we enjoyed his company immensely! Three of us had the best burgers ever, cooked to perfection and juicy! One friend had a Greek salad and it was the freshest salad we'd ever seen and she loved it!... More

Wow, what a blast from the past! The building was reminiscent of those built in the early l900's in our home town of Brunswick, MD. When we walked in it was like walking back into our childhood--this was a sisters and friends trip and our one breakfast out! It didn't disappoint--the breakfast menu was expansive (no, not expensive) and we... More
