While the store did have a fair amount of "touristy" stuff, this was an authentic little store with lots of local patrons. The sandwiches were good (not amazingly great), and the staff/owners were friendly. I wouldn't plan my trip to make sure to visit this place - but it was a convenient place (across the street from the KOA campground)... More

This store helped us throughout every step of our trip. Their extremely friendly customer service made us feel comfortable and welcome, allowing us to make multiple stops at this store throughout our journey. Specifically, the milkshakes were quite delicious---I suggest going for the maple syrup flavor. After a long day of racing, the hamburgers more than fulfilled the order. Besides... More

I had never visited Vermont prior to this summer. The Route 4 Country Store was our first stop in the state. Upon entry, we were greeted by the staff and regulars in the friendliest manner! We ordered awesome sandwiches and unique beverages for a fair price. Although there wasn't much seating, sitting outside on the porch gave our dining experience... More

We tried the pulled pork sandwiches--I enjoyed, but my husband did not like the bread his was served on. Our kids had other sandwiches that they enjoyed, but we (2 adults & 2 kids ages 10 & 13) did not like the french fries. There are a few bar stools inside at a counter you can eat, but it would... Stopped here on our trip down to Boston from Montreal. I was really craving a big ol' American deli sandwich, and the one I got here really hit the spot! Wish I could go here all the time. The store is adorable, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. What more can you ask for? Also, one of... More

My sister and I have stopped in the Route 4 Country Store on most if not all of our trips through Quechee, VT, and this time was no different. Our stop there the other day was specifically for my sister to get a pulled pork sandwich because we had seen an advertisement mentioning that the country store was known for... More
