The place is the textbook diner for small town Vermont. The coffee is delicious and the food is perfect! I had a standard breakfast and the sausage came tasting like they were fried in maple syrup. Very small diner but also quite welcoming and friendly. Much cheaper than what the hotel had to offer and I am sure it tasted... More

I guess if you're trying to save money and really need some food, this diner would be okay, but compared to the hundreds of diners in the New York area, this one is lousy. The food was flavorless and the bread was stale. Was hoping it would be a cute New England diner with good quality, but was really disappointed.

Delicious food. Super friendly service. (They're on top of your coffee refill.) Great diner experience! Be sure to try the homemade bagels.

I used to love the Fairlee Diner. I suspect and hope that it still offers good breakfast food. However, I just had lunch there and the food was mediocre and very expensive. I ordered scallops with mashed potatoes, cole slaw, and pickled beets. I didn't order a drink (just water). Saying the food was average is being generous. The tab... More

Truly has that Mom & Pop feeling. Only there for breakfast, but they have really good ones. Wonderful pancakes and good hearty fare.

I had the blueberry pancakes and they were wonderful. Lots of berries and cooked just right. For just a dollar or two extra I got the real maple syrup.

This tiny little diner reminds me of the old trailer-style diners, but it's really more of a shack. And that's not really a bad thing. We went at noon on a Sunday, and were seated immediately, though we might not have been if we'd arrived any earlier. Seemed like a big crowd had just left. I ordered the fresh Angus... More

Whenever I'm in this area I try to come here for breakfast. The diner has had it's ups and down over the years but it's still there and still serves homemade food so it must be doing something right. I'll be there for breakfast the next time I'm in the upper valley.

This diner is a throw back to when you could get home cooked food. This is probably my favorite diner and I travel for a living. Their food is made from scratch. Try the turkey club, you won't be disappointed. It's real turkey.
