We visited here about 3 years ago on our way to Maine. The Fairlee Diner is still the BEST! Easy going & local we had the special, a hot pork open faced sandwich.

This is the real deal. And old diner with fresh, hot food. They do breakfast and lunch and, as the sign says, "Open 7 Days a Week - Closed Tuesday." You can't get any more home town than that. Everything is good but the blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup are the best!!!

Right out of the past. Nothing fancy, but the food is great - excepting the French Fries which are on the greasy side. My wife and I have enjoyed eating there several times and were never disappointed. Good sized portions, but I have to say, the prices seem to be creeping up rather rapidly over the years.

Looking for a place to eat on our journey across N.H. we stopped In Fairlee, Vermont and asked a local at a gas station. He told us about this family restaurant. The food, marinated chicken with mashed potatoes and hot dogs with homemade baked beans, was wonderful. It is a tiny place with 6 or 7 booths and a counter... More

My friend and I were directed to this cute and quaint little dinner that hugs the highway on the Vermont side of the Connecticut River with the warning that we might be able to get in as the seating is very limited. We were fortunate to arrive when there were still a couple of booths open. The dining area consists... More

Fairlee Diner has been there for years and has great food and quanity for a Country Diner Atmosphere. Small, may have to wait on the weekends and holidays. Just open for breakfast and lunch (closed Tuesdays).

I went here after church with a group of friends. The staff was friendly and place was clean. A lot of choices on the menu. You can expect to pay $10 for your meal. The meal is a large portion. I ordered pastrami with cheese and a small side of onion rings and hot chocolate. The chocolate had whip cream... More

I'm a regular here and am always happy with both the food and the experience. "The Diner" as everyone calls it, is tiny. There are 5 or 6 varnished pine booths for 6 and a few stools at the crowded counter. The cook works the flat-top grill right behind the counter and one of the benefits of sitting there is... More

The place is the textbook diner for small town Vermont. The coffee is delicious and the food is perfect! I had a standard breakfast and the sausage came tasting like they were fried in maple syrup. Very small diner but also quite welcoming and friendly. Much cheaper than what the hotel had to offer and I am sure it tasted... More
