Fantastic place to eat

I have been here many times and have never had a bad experience. The host and staff are excellent and very accomodating. The moussaka is very good and they have the best Calamari around. The fish is always very fresh and tasty. They also have a bar menu that is full of great items and is very... read more

We recently had the opportunity to dine at the Fair Haven Inn while getting together with friends. Having dined here years ago, I was surprised to see a new building. It was nicely decorated inside and out. Upon approaching the hostess and announcing the name for reservations, our party was invited to hang our coats in a cloakroom. The dining... More

Always an exceptional meal! Try the double thick lamb chops with spinach -my favorite ! Also love chicken florentine!! Alfredo sauce is to die for!! Only issue would be that drinks could stand to be larger. Small wine and mixed drink glasses.

What a great gem here in little old Fairhaven. This is worth the drive from wherever you are to Fairhaven. To keep it in perspective for those of you outside of Vermont, driving to anywhere in VT (like Fairhaven), is nothing compared to say, driving from LA to SF in CA. In fact, driving from San Francisco to Sacramento would... More

We were there for our 44th anniversary. The interior is very classy. Servers are friendly, efficient and prompt. For starters, you are served a relish tray of chick peas and horseradish cottage cheese. They are also know for their pickled beets. We had appetizers; the calm sampler and the escargot. Both were delicious. For entrees we had fresh steamed lobster... More

The menu had interesting chicken, beef and seafood choices- many with a Greek flair which was a bit unusual for the area and style of restaurant. We were served a deliciously unusual complimentary chickpea relish and pickled beets. Our entrees were top quality and well prepared. Service was unusual in that we had 4 different servers tending us, and all... More

Had a great dinner here with 2 other couples, each of us choosing a different entre. Everyone enjoyed their dinners and the service was excellent. If you are looking for a nice dinner with a varied menu, I would try The Fair Haven Inn. Cozy and Good!!

We were SO excited to find this restaurant! We really enjoy Greek food, and we were not disappointed. The prices are decent and the atmosphere is nice. The choices are extensive. The food takes a little while to come out but that's because they make everything fresh. Take some time and enjoy this gem!

We have never been disappointed over the past ten plus years dining at Fair Haven Inn. This time I tried the Seafood Souvlakia (shrimp, scallops, fish and vegetables on a skewer). The "poet of fish" did his usual great job. My wife was also very pleased with her Broiled Sea Scallops. The wait staff is well trained and work as... More
