A good source for Irish food in the Burlington area

Cody's has always been a great place for 'pub grub'. They offer a broad menu at a reasonable price. They also have a great selection of beers. There are several Irish items on the menu as well. My favorite is the shepherds pie. The service is friendly and very efficientt.

I've been in the area for several years. Sitting at a table is usually ok. The food is pretty good and the service is usually decent. Sitting at the bar though is entirely different. Sometimes the owner actually achnoledges you and doesn't give you too much attitude. Other times I've felt like I just broke into his living room and... More

Cody's has an extensive selection of beers - most unknown to me, but appreciated by colleagues who know their beers! Typical fare are appetizers such as buffalo wings, nachos and the like. None of the food is outstanding, but most of it is good enough to satisfy a healthy appetite. Go for the ambiance, go for the beer, go for... More

Kevin Cody is the owner, and he's often there. He tries very hard to please people, so ask for him if there's an issue. Whatever you order is hot and large. The food isn't exceptional, but it's better sports bar food than what you'll get from the chains in the area. It's among the Outlets in Essex and near the... More

Cody's is a popular place for families, solos, friends--mostly locals from Essex. It's a go-to place when you just don't feel like cooking. There is a wide range of choices on the menu all the way from standard hamburgers to taco salads, to fish and chips and delicious chili in a bread bowl. Usually the staff is friendly and helpful... We're at Cody's most Sunday's. In a world of constant turnover of staff, Cody's has a core of friendly, professional regulars. We have our favorite dishes and they're very tasty! We have our favorite drinks and they have them ready shortly after we walk in the door. It's a cozy friendly atmosphere. For some reason the drinks taste better here?!... More

Food and beverages are ample and fresh. Regular, welcoming and professional staff. The Jameson tastes better here (fresh ice?).

If you are looking for pub fare and a good beer selection, Cody's will deliver. It is also very convenient to local cinema and outlet shopping.

We used to go here often for fish and chips. It can be crowded at times as there is a movie theatre nearby. The last time we were there there was no one in the place so we asked to sit in a booth by the window. These booths are large and I understand why they would want us to... More
