Worth a try if you want an off-beat breakfast

This cafe is very small and offers an interesting menu. They have a couple of "normal" eggs and bacon type breakfast but that's not their specialty. They are good but nothing to write home about. Beyond my expectations, beautiful dish that screamed EAT ME!! It showed up on a search for Mexican food, I would say "Americanized Mexican" The flavors are Awesome, Authentic spices, not spicy hot, unless you you try their homemade sauce, great ambiance. Person to person service, crisp fresh vegetables, and high quality ingredients, I can tell. The Green tomatillo sauce Fish Tacos... More

Really unique, interesting place where you would least expect it. I had home made chorizo eggs Benedict and it was awesome. Girlfriend had chicken omelet w a mole type sauce that was good too. Definitely stop by if you are in the area.

We had a wonderful experience at the Firebird Café in Essex Junction Vermont. The atmosphere was fine, a bit rustic. The restaurant was well maintained clean and comfortable. The sandwiches that we ordered were excellent. The taste and content of each of the sandwich was outstanding was very fresh produce an excellent cuts of meat. There is no real downside... More

This place is small but big on friendliness and flavor. I highly recommend the Havana, with melted swiss on ham, fried pickles and mustard. Absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, served quickly, and the staff was very friendly without being overbearing. A little pricey but far better than tne usual chainstore joint.

I love the Firebird Cafe and am a repeat visitor. The restaurant has limited seating (it's an older house, converted into a restaurant), however the food is amazing! Here you'll find the best Heuvos Rancheros ever, along with great Tofu Burritos. Remember to top off your meal with their house-made hot sauce!

Friendly staff, variety of options. We most often go for breakfast, but there are lunch options as well. Staff works hard to ensure that GF options are available, which I appreciate. Not much seating available, but service is relatively fast if you can find a seat. Highly recommend the huevos rancheros.
