Delightful evening

This is a small, intimate restaurant in a small, lovely Vermont town. The chefs/owners, a husband and wife team, offer a wonderful selection of seasonal appetizers and entrees, prepared mostly from locally grown meats and produce. The atmosphere is both casual and refined and the food is beautifully prepared and served. Four of us each had different selections from the... More

This restaurant is a must if you are in the area, (even if you aren't-its worth the drive)! We've been there many times and the food is always consistently creative and great. Leo and Beverly, the owners are both lovely people, They provide organic, grass fed non GMO farm to table foods that are expertly prepared (by Leo). It's obvious... More

We really enjoyed our meal at the bistro last november. The cuisine of chef Leo Ledoux is imaginative and fresh. Only fine local and I believe mostly organic products are used. The service is also perfect and friendly. We will definitely return on our next trip to beautiful Dorset. We had a conversation with the chef and his associate, they... More

This place is surely the ease of comfort while in the midst of others experiencing the grace of little angels pampering your most intimate desires of feasting above the rest. The menu displays excellent tasting choices even for the most hard to please, an experience to savor. Prices aren't bad either.

This neat little restaurant is a real find. We visited the restaurant based on Trip Advisor ratings and we're very happy we did. We were greeted by the friendly hostess/waitress in this busy, happy and noisy place. The service was prompt and attentive ( thanks, Eleanor!). The best part was the menu..I had a wonderful Japanese curry dish with just... More

Since Manchester VT restaurants close down after Labor we sought out the next closest location and came upon this nice chef-owned establishment. Service is friendly and effective, food is imaginative and fresh, using local products. Chef Ledoux is passionate. An address worth seeking out.

Have been twice over the years, both in summer, both times sat outside. Very satisfying meals. Nice variety of options, scallops, salmon, etc all delicious. Prices upscale but very fair. Ambience relaxed, don't really take advantage of being in beautiful Vermont, outside patio feels like you are part of parking lot a bit. Wine list small but well-curated and some... More

This was a small, crowded restaurant and we were cheerfully accommodated when I asked to be moved to the more spread out covered outdoor seating area. The menu was expensive and no bread was served. My salmon with rice, asparagus and zucchini was fabulous although the thick middle section wasn't fully cooked and had to be sent back. Again, they... More

We recently dined at Mio Bistro in the lovely town of Dorset, VT. Our party of six sat outside on the patio... A great way to spend a summer evening. The menu is small but you will find a good selection of beef, pork and fish dishes. The salmon and scallop entrées were excellent. The service was friendly, efficient and... More

We ate there with friends on June 21, 2014 and it was by far the best dinner we have had in the area - and we live here and dine often in the manchester/Dorset area. I am a mussel eater and their's were the best! We will go back often. I give it 5 stars!
