Although the atmosphere isn't anything special, and the service is mediocre, the food is pretty good. They aren't open all day, so it's only a breakfast/lunch spot. They have super homebaked goodies.

It is known for its homemade baked goods, quiches, and breakfast and lunch food. It's not open for dinner.

It’s not really a comment on the restaurant itself, but the first thing that struck me about Roaster’s Grill & Deli is that the building (just off I-91) , built right on the edge of a drop-off that gives one a lovely vista of Vermont mountains and countryside… but the only place one can enjoy it is from the parking... We recently stopped at the Roasters Cafe & Deli, not sure if we just wanted a coffee or also some lunch. In the end we did have lunch: Rueben sandwich and a Lobster Roll. Both were very good. Service was very friendly. Kudos to the Roasters Cafe & Deli for 1) playing soft classical music, 2) having a variety of... More

A great cafe with free wifi. The muffins are absolutely mouth watering!! The only thing better than the muffins are the homemade soups and chowders. Every special always sounds delicious and their desserts are great as well. The waitress is awesome and can handle the entire cafe and cashiering on her on. It is definetly worth the time to go... If you're in town for a couple of days and need a place for a great home cooked breakfast, you won't be disappointed. The lunches are great, too, with great "from scratch" soups. Make sure you try their maple pudding. It is great and very Vermont.
