Good food, good service, friendly and clean. We like Goodfellows a lot. We generally eat in the bar section, but have eaten in the dining room when with a bigger group. We have never had bad service or a bad meal.

Honestly, you can eat at Bailiwick's for maybe 10% more. Sometimes it's worth it to go to a restaurant offering less but not when it's offering less at the same price. I don't think I'll go back till prices are more in line with atmosphere and food offerings.

It had been a while since we had been back to this restaurant. We were on our way home from a day trip and decided to stop in for supper. The new owners have changed up the menu as one would expect. The "special" was Prime Rib. I ordered the larger portion. I am a pretty good judge of meat.... More

If it's been a while since you went, don't be in a hurry to return. Gone is the fresh-baked bread at the table. The salad bar is, shall we say, uninspiring. Prime rib, a special on weekends, is fatty, fatty, fatty. If you're going to spend $50 on dinner for two, there have to be better places to do it,... More

I visit Danville/St. J several times a year. Goodfellas offers good food/good sevice at a reasonable price in a friendly atmosphere. I've tried most restaurants in the area, and Goodfellas feels offers a welcome night out at a clean local restaurant that has the feel of the comfort of home and good friends. The kids like make-your-own pizza night, I... More

Great place to go if you are driving through or live in the area. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Service was excellent and friendly. Food was amazing. We recommend their Daktel Wings. We love wings and those topped the cake. We asked for the recipe but got shut down. Don't blame them, LOL.. You will not be disappointed.

One adult beverage, a fish sandwich and the stuffed haddock put us out the door with 20% tip at 48 bucks. That is a little steep for the area and for what we got. I think the new owners should have another look at the service and the price points.

Variety offered on the menu, our party of four arrived at 7:30p.m. and sadly the prime rib was gone and the better part of the salad bar. Service was good, seafood chowder was wonderful, atmosphere was casual and the restaurant was clean.

After traveling for hours, hungry and tired, finding Goodfellas was exactly what we needed. Our server Gwen was friendly and knowledgable about the menu. We decided to have the special, it included the salad bar with soup. Perfect to have while we waited for our entrees. The food was flavorful and great value for the money. We had the prime... More
