My wife and I ventured out for luch and I chose this place out of curiosity as the previous owners ran the restaurant and food into the ground. It was refurbished and welcoming. We consider ourselves wing experts and without a doubt these were the best wings we ever had. The slaw that came with our meals was not your... More

My husband had a ham sandwich that made him sick with the runs and my chicken sandwich was horrible! The food is awful. We were recommended by a friend who goes there often. It had a terrible smell like moth balls mixed with old lady Eu de toilet. We will never go back. The former owners food was at least... More

Anyone that has ever visited Alice's (or plans to visit Alice's for the first time) should be aware that it has never smelled like moth balls or perfumes. Our establishment is very clean and smells clean. If ever, any guest is seated nearby someone that has an odor that is offensive, we would be discrete and happy to move you... More

Second time dining at Alice's and hoped for a better dining experience. Nothing outstanding. Dish had microscopic lobster pieces and two shrimp made the dish I had rather overpriced. It was bland and disappointing. Fish dish was average for the price. Really hoped for a better experience on the second try, but the amount of food and quality make the... More

Chef owned, this small town jewel is an ideal walk from Inn Victoria. Mark does a great job with specials and routine meals on the menu. If you love a full variety of dishes to choose from...here it is and extremely well done for a small town price. The French Onion soup is the best I've ever had....! More

We ate dinner at Alice's two nights in a row and loved it both times. The chef is creative without going too far off course and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Loved the ambiance. This place has a great feel to it. More

The menu offered a wide selection of grilled fare, as well as pasta and seafood dishes. The meager wine list featured wines from California and Oregon, and microbrews from Vermont. We had the eggplant parmigiana, apple-butternut squash soup, and vegetable ravioli in cream sauce. The portions were double large. The pasta was properly al dente, and though the sauces were... More

Really liked the atmosphere of this restaurant, but the sauce on the chicken marsala was very pasty and could have been Ragu, they need to make it unique. Wine was excellent. More

We recently stopped in Chester while on our way to Weston. I had dined previously at the restaurant that occupied the space that Alice's Restaurant is in and thought we would try its replacement. We were looking for a light lunch and were not disappointed. The hostess greeted us cheerfully and after waiting about 5 minutes we were seated in... More
