We were travelling through Chester on our search for covered bridges! We stopped in for a late lunch and we are so glad we did! What a fun place!! Our friendly bartender/waitress Ashley absolutely made the visit!! What a doll! The Scottish ales were wonderful!! And what a great menu!! We tried an assortment of the Scottish dishes (I am... More

Great traditional Scottish food, drink & service! We were traveling through the area, had to make a pit stop an found this great place on the way through on "Trip Advisor" so we easily found it as it had great reviews an appetizing menu, so we wanted to give it a try. MacLaomainn's did not dissapoint! We had a combo... More

Choices in Chester are limited, but this small Scottish pub is great. Haggis (as well as a surprising range of other food choices) and a good range of beer on tap. The service is friendly and the food very good. Porch dining is great if weather permits. It’s a small pub so if they’re really busy then service can suffer... More

The extensive menu at this pub was a surprise. A lot of options ranging from normal bar food items to Scottish and English heavier dishes. Great staff and the wine by the glass was actually good! (didn't have high hopes) Recommended it to everyone at my hotel.

I should have known when there was a sign on every table that asked not to give a bad review on social media because anyone can have a "bad day". First the Scotish Ale was very good. The food was very mediocre. Nothing bad, nothing great. The service was the problem. All of the food was served at the same... More

Choices in Chester, Vermont, are quite limited and while the town is very scenic and we visit frequently, one is limited as to options. This place is quite nice. Inside the feeling is homey/cozy and the porch is a good option if the temperature permits. There's a large selection of beers and ciders with heavy emphasis from Britain. The food... More

Alan is a real scot who says if you want to know what a Scotsman wears under his kilt you gotta marry him! My sister and I were hiking the area, ate there three times loved the Scottish food and great people there.

This small Scottish pub is as close to authentic as you can find this side of the Atlantic. Haggis and the full range of Belhaven beer on tap gives this 5 stars. The service is friendly and all of the food we tried was very good. The dining room is very small and reminded me of pubs I had visited... More

I've never had Scottish food before but I learned about about it from the friendly staff. We were greeted quickly and the waitress was very attentive to our needs. The food was served piping hot and was excellent. I had the Auld Reekie Stew and my wife had the Chicken and Mushroom Pie - both excellent. I would recommend this... More
