Of course by giving this a great review, it will make it harder to get a table at this eclectic pizza place but when something is this great it would be selfish to keep it to yourself. We go to the Pizza Stone as often as possible. They make great pizza and have a menu of options that is guaranteed... More

We've been here twice while staying nearby-ish. It is a great pizza place. Very laid back. Great pizza, very fresh (and local) ingredients. We had salad once and an appetizer the second visit, both were wonderful as well. Perfect for a relaxed dinner after traveling during the day or skiing. Highly appropriate local beer selection, plenty of good options despite... More

This place has some very good thin crust pizza with choicest ranging from the standard pizza choices to local cheeses, herbs, various meats, etc. They also have a very good selection of Vermont-made beers. This is the third or fourth time we have stopped there and the service has always been friendly and efficient.

We find our way to The Pizza Stone! Great pizza and great folk work there! Great pizza choices or you can build your own. Excellent selection of regional beers as well.

Have been here three times on trips to Chester. Service is very laid back and friendly. Not a very fancy joint but perfect for a pizza place. Great local beers on tap and the pizza is as good as it gets for an area not known for pizza. I had mozz, tomato, sausage and onions with no sauce and it... More

Finding good pizza while traveling can be difficult, but the Pizza Stone was highly recommended. I'm so glad we tried it! The pizza was delicious, great variety of beers (ask for recommendations). Everything is so fresh and local. The atmosphere is casual, warm and inviting. We stopped by on a Friday in the early evening, and there were lots of... More

Whenever I'm in Vermont, I gotta hit the Pizza Stone. Pizzas are delish, and the beer selection is great. It's a casual and welcoming place. The use local ingredients. What's not to love?

I live in the area and "The Pizza Stone" is the only pizza restaurant in the county that I will go to. All other pizza in the area pales in comparison. The ingredients are fresh and mostly local. I am very fussy about salad freshness and their salads always meet my high expectations. The waiters are friendly and the service... More

This place is great. If you're in southern Vermont, just turn off the road on between Rockingham and Chester to Chester Depot. There are three big pink tires at the turn and it's just up the road a bit. The Pizza Stone is located in a converted garage. Don't let that deter you. It's got rustic charm. The just have... More
