We love this place. We find the time to stop in whenever we are in the area. The menu options are varied and the food is outstanding. I cannot wait to go back. I personally recommend the breadsticks! Just writing about them is making my mouth water!

I spent a week in southern VT and was shocked at the lack of imagination on the menues and poor quality, most meals were never finished (i am pickey). my wife found this place because she read an article in a local paper about a fund raiser, they had the most inventive menu. Since it was pizza we held back... More

A plain building just north of the village with a small "Pizza Stone" sign out front. But don't go by the packaging. Inside, you'll find a large open room with a large bar and multiple tables for you to sit and munch. A wonderful thin crust pizza topped with a most tasty sauce and ample cheese. My plan was to... Tried this restaurant on a friends review. Pizza was ok - nothing spectacular. Beer was expensive and the waiter was slow. Thought on a Friday night there might be entertainment but no such luck. Probably won't visit again, not because it wasn't good but $45.00 for a smallish pizza, appetizer & 2 beers was a bit outrageous. Oh well, an... More

Of course by giving this a great review, it will make it harder to get a table at this eclectic pizza place but when something is this great it would be selfish to keep it to yourself. We go to the Pizza Stone as often as possible. They make great pizza and have a menu of options that is guaranteed... More

We've been here twice while staying nearby-ish. It is a great pizza place. Very laid back. Great pizza, very fresh (and local) ingredients. We had salad once and an appetizer the second visit, both were wonderful as well. Perfect for a relaxed dinner after traveling during the day or skiing. Highly appropriate local beer selection, plenty of good options despite... More

This place has some very good thin crust pizza with choicest ranging from the standard pizza choices to local cheeses, herbs, various meats, etc. They also have a very good selection of Vermont-made beers. This is the third or fourth time we have stopped there and the service has always been friendly and efficient.

We find our way to The Pizza Stone! Great pizza and great folk work there! Great pizza choices or you can build your own. Excellent selection of regional beers as well.

Have been here three times on trips to Chester. Service is very laid back and friendly. Not a very fancy joint but perfect for a pizza place. Great local beers on tap and the pizza is as good as it gets for an area not known for pizza. I had mozz, tomato, sausage and onions with no sauce and it... More
