I used to get pho (noodle soup) more frequently on the West Coast, so I was very excited to find this place. Overall it was a good experience. I went for lunch on a Friday. It was crowded and they probably could have used another waiter. I order the Pho # 8 with beef and meatball. It was good, but... More

We'd heard lots of great things about Pho Hong from locals, so we decided to try it out. It is a bit outside of downtown Burlington in the north end, but we walked from Church Street (maybe 10 blocks?) and arrived within 15-20 minutes by food. The place was really packed on a Saturday night (locals, singles, families - it... More

We were craving for a delicious meal after doing the Lake Champlain bike trail on a rainy afternoon and this place did not disappoint us. The 'Tiger Roll' appetizer (crab and cheese rolls) was so exquisite that we felt compelled to order a second plate. The Pho Tai (lean beef slices in a rice noodle soup) and the Chicken Panang... Went for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was so fresh and delicious. It was quite busy, server was warm and welcoming. Can't wait to go back

If it were up to my boyfriend, we would eat at Pho Hong every night. They (hands down) have the best vietnamese food in town. Very casual but cool atmosphere, the staff are super nice and meals are served quickly. Also, super affordable! It gets busy for dinner so I would recommend take out.

Pho Hong is a small, usually crowded unimpressive space in Burlington's North End. But its Vietnamese and Thai menu is long and fascinating and the preparations and presentation of its dishes is superb. Wonderful arrays of tastes from both Vietnam and Thailand include curry's, the ubiquitous noodle/soup bowls, and a long list of specials including some very subtly spiced shrimp,... More

Casual atmosphere, fresh food. I had #21 an eggplant stir fry dish. I ordered it with rice but it came with noodles. Maybe the waiter didn't hear me correctly. Since I was hungry, I kept it. The noodles on the bottom of the bowl were cold but the vegetables on top were hot. I'll return. The meal was $9.99, so... More

We waited 30 minutes for a table (which is a good sign) and it was worth it. The curry with coco milk and sweet potatoes was very good. Rolls are hot and excellent. And the kindness and smile of the waitress was free. She apologized twice for the waiting. 38$ tax included for 2 starters and 3 main entrees. A... More

I love Pho Hong and have been going for many years. The lemongrass Beef vermicelli dish is my favorite, but anytime I go I am amazed at how wonderful every dish that leaves the kitchen looks. For the price the portions are generous and the customer service is great. Highly Recommend

One of my two favorite restaurants in Burlington. Delicious food, friendly service, I think many of the staff are family. They've updated the restaurant several times and it is very cosy. It's BYOB too. Best foods are the veggie or shrimp and pork spring rolls (tasty sauce that comes with it), the fried rice, the various curries, and the specials.... More
