Stone Soup is a cute little restaurant. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Or you can serve yourself from the food bar. Everything looked delicious, healthy and creative. The atmosphere was great-- nicely decorated. I had the tomato soup and half a sandwich. The employees are very friendly.

Been here several times and each time I try something different. Whether it's a fresh sandwich, salad, or selections from the hot food bar, I know I can always get a healthy and delicious meal here; and living a plant-based lifestyle, that can be difficult to find! They also have really great desserts, highly recommended!

The only thing I regret was not getting one of the pastries! Really good. The beef stew soup was outstanding. My wife had the chicken mulligatawny - not as good, but okay. The bread was awesome! Good coffee, too.

We went there for lunch on Christmas eve, there were people every where and we weren't really sure how to go about ordering food since we didn't want the salad bar and no one seemed to notice us. So we left, on the way out we saw people's sandwiches and soup in the window and decided to go back in.... More

This place was so good we ate dinner here and then lunch the next day. It is mainly vegetarian\vegan (I was told they have some meat dishes but not sure what) but as omnivores we tried pretty much everything and enjoyed it all. Other than menu items such as soups and salads, there are two buffet tables - one with... More

We had a great lunch at Stone Soup while visiting Burlington for the weekend. It was the perfect meal on a cold day. As a vegetarian, it was great to have so many options. The soup was delicious, as was the bread that came with it. Their selection of baked goods was also great... especially the carrot cake cookies:) The... More

Love this place. I like the fact that you can either make a plate from the buffet line or order from the counter. We opted for some soups from the counter for this visit and we were very happy with our choices. You don't feel guilty or gross after eating there either. The only thing I had a small issue... More

It's not immediately evident how Stone Soup works, so go straight to the register if it's your first time. You can order soup and sandwiches, but the real star that everyone comes for is the by-the-pound buffet. It's not huge, but we tried a little scoop of everything and it was all wonderful, homemade, and (surprisingly) vegetarian. We sat near... More

Great chill atmosphere and food. If this was in my hometown, I would re-visit very often. Everything at the bar was very tempting and so easy to get (and pay for) too much. My only regret was that I skipped the amazing looking baked goods.

Stone Soup was a nice spot for a quick lunch. We didn’t go because of the vegan/vegetarian options, just because it sounded good and had good reviews. Honestly, we were a little out of our element when it came to all the specialty grain and veggie options. We settled on mac & cheese, which was good, and soups and sandwiches.... More
