Always good here but the house cured salmon is wonderful!! Cozy little place downstairs (hard to find in alley but worth the effort). Exposed brick. Good service.

We always love this cozy tucked away spot in downtown Burlinton. But this quinoa scram with poached eggs - organic and local ingredients - is beyond delicious.

We dined at this delightful restaurant with a large group of people and all were totally pleased with their choices. A menu offering mouth watering omelets, scrambles, pancakes, french toast, and other choices. The coffee could have been stronger -- I prefer espresso actually!

Our group of four vegetarians, one lactose-intolerant, and three omnivores were no problem at all, even when we wanted to substitute and adjust. Service was accommodating, quick, and efficient. Lots of menu options for all. And the maple syrup is real Vermont dark amber. Two oatmeal pancakes were enough to hold me through 18 holes of golf (9 walking) and... More

I love breakfast so my birthday breakfast at Magnolia was a wonderful start to a special day. Magnolia touts its fresh, seasonal, local foods and a very creative menu. They are "spot on" for all counts. The warm almond, chocolate raspberry coffee cake with my coffee started things off so well. This was followed with a yummy veggie hash with... More

Breakfast is tricky for me in the States - I don't eat eggs (don't like the taste or texture) and don't eat meat or fish and Americans (on the whole) have a sweeter tooth than I do, so pancakes, muffins and French Toast can be too sweet. So, joy! Magnolia offers all the egg dishes with tofu as a substitute... More

Really great food and service, and a lot of different options. I'm a lunch person, the other folks I was with are more breakfast people and all of us loved the menu selection and meals. Service was fantastic....nice quiet place. Worked out great for our breakfast meeting.

I stopped here for lunch recently at this popular Burlington eatery. The restaurant is located downstairs in the "basement" in a very calm, peaceful space despite the utilitarian nature of the building above it. The meal was excellent (I had the carrot-ginger soup and the tarragon chicken sandwich). The staff was friendly and accommodating. Why four stars instead of five?... More

Great food, attentive, helpful, staff. Accomodating special requests and reasonably priced. Only open for breakfast and lunch. The menu is local-vore friendly. Very busy on the weekends and so prepare for a wait.Eclectic menu with lots of choices for carnivores, omnivores and the veg folks. Good food. Good people. I eat here several times a month, during the week for... More
