There was a crowd out the door waiting to get in for breakfast, but it was worth the wait, which was shorter than the hostess predicted. I wanted to try every single thing on the inventive menu. Although we are not vegetarians, we love meatless options and they had plenty. We had the tangerine juice, yum. My husband had an... More

I thought this place was good, average breakfast fair. Nothing worth the 35 minute wait though. But that is my only issue here, how crowded it was. Their homemade sausage was really great though.

We ate breakfast at Penny Clue 2 out of our 3 mornings in Burlington (would have gone for 3 but we stayed at a place that had free breakfast one night.) The Bloody Marys are delicious and the breakfast is too. Easy for vegetarians, vegans to eat here yet my meat-loving husband could indulge in what made him happy too.... More

Tried to go to lunch on the Saturday but was too full (1h30 wait on Saturday lunch), opted to go back early Sunday morning. Arrived fairly early (9h30) adn still had to wait a little bit. But it was worth the wait. Everything on the menu looked very interesting. From the buttermilk pancakes to the 3-egg omelet, everything we had... More

My mom always says, "eat at a busy restaurant, you know the food is fresh" and that is certainly true at Penny Cluse. This stellar restaurant is popular with locals and visitors alike and has been rated as one of the top restaurants in town for years. Despite having to wait every time you go (I did observe a slight... More

This wonderful place to eat is conveniently located in burlington near the mall so parking is a breeze however it is pay for it is very reasonable. We went for breakfast and everything was amazing. We even had a wait time albeit short (10 min) for breakfast.... so that tells you something about its popularity. Scrambled eggs in America are... More

We have had breakfast here many times, it never disappoints! The Tofu peanut Scram is great. Everything I've ever eaten here has been delicious. Friendly efficient staff.

Penny Cluse was a great breakfast spot. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The menu definitely had a little tex mex influence to it. The service was attentive and quick. We went on a weekday and I am glad we did. It sounds like it gets very busy on the weekends.

On my recent trip to Burlington I went to Penny Cluse for Breakfast. It was packed but I got sat at the bar fast. I had the bucket o spuds which was very good and filling. I also ordered to Penny Clues which is two eggs, homefries and biscuits with gravy. It was very good too. However, I could have... More
