Went for Breakfast/Brunch. My husband had amazing eggs & homefries with a creamy herb sauce. I had a stacked turkey club that was REAL roast turkey-- like the kind grandma makes for Thanksgiving, turkey. Are you kidding me??? it was awesome! Bloody Marys & beers were good too- the wait can be long- so if you can't handle it, try... More

They usually have things like pumpkin pancakes and wonderful egg dishes. They get crowded, so expect a bit of a wait. Totally worth it.

I am a breakfast fan. I think it's the best meal of the day and Penny Cluse delivers. Really quality food with some interesting twists make for a tasty start to the day. I love the Zydeco Breakfast (eggs, andouille sausage, black beans and corn muffins) but there are so many other options (gingerbread pancakes, bucket of spuds, or tofu... More

Breakfast on way back to Boston area after touring UVM. Got to have the pancakes in order to enjoy the VT maple syrup. My daughter had a French toast special. The coffee was good and dark, staff friendly. We waited about 20 minutes on a Saturday morning. Good local color as well.

I came here with my friend for brunch one sunday. it was packed so we waited for a table knowing it would be worth the wait. The server seemed a little discombobulated, but she kept the coffee flowing. my eggs and French toast were great. if you are looking for breakfast a little more upscale than your traditional diner than... Its almost always crowded with a wait for a table and that is for a good reason: This place has amazing food. It all starts with fantastic food and a commitment to local products. From there, you'll find a dash of the south in the biscuits and sausage and a little south of the border with their other options. You... More

Weekday morning for breakfast with family. Had to wait 10 minutes, but well worth it. First time here, although had heard/read many good comments. Unusual combinations of food and tates assembled with tradition breakfast food make for an unforgettable dining experience. Very tasty and large portions.

The breakfast menu seems to have a number of more southern dishes. The service was good. They originally brought me the wrong dish but when asked, apologizes and replaced the dish and charged for the least expensive of the two, a classy way to handle the problem (especially since I found the original dish bland.) The sides to the dish,... More

Fresh squeezed juice, perfectly fluffy scrambled eggs, and chile rellanos to write poetry about...the only downside is its popularity - it almost always crowded and sometimes is quite loud, but if you love great food and a wonderful staff this is the place!

Looking for a good hearty breakfast can be a challenge in Burlington, VT. This place is not the answer. The food arrived cold. The waitress was distracted and couldn't keep up with the pace of the business. The prices were through the roof. The value was just not there.
