Upscale Chinese

I've been wanting to eat here for ages, and was not disappointed. The menu has unique selections that you will not find in Americanized Chinese restaurants. We shared two main dishes and two sides and were happy with our selections. Some of the dishes had heavier sauces and batter than I expected... read more

Stopped by A Single Pebble on my lunch break. I was very impressed from the moment I walked in. The restaurant is very spacious and clean, and my order was taking promptly. The food took a little longer than I expected, but it was worth the wait. Delicious! Best Chinese food in Burlington!

We were in Burlington to look for a restaurant for our daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner for 50 people. The food tasted OK. Nothing spectacular. The problem was that the 1st dish was on the table for about 7-8 minutes before the 2nd dish was brought out. That's not how you serve food in a Chinese restaurant. And the server needs... More

First try: the hostess declined to seat us, though there were many empty tables, "all reserved." Months later, second try: the hostess was reluctant to seat us, though the restaurant was empty. Said we could wait three hours or sit on the patio. We chose the patio. The waitress offered a cod special. We ordered it, but when it arrived... More

Plenty of authentic Asian offerings for every palate. From spicy to savoury to sweet and crunchy, the choices were varied and delicious. Our server was knowledgeable and help full answering questions and offering suggestions. Prices were fair for the quality and quantity of food. I will definitely visit again with friends.

A Single Pebble is amazing in many ways, let's start with the food. I am Chinese so I know what quality Chinese is and this is it, not that cheap Americanized stuff. They do do some fusion and that's pretty cool too. I had the lunch tasting menu and it was the best meal I've had in a very long... More

Crispy scallops in ginger sauce should be called battered deep fried in thick gluggy sauce at market price of $24 over priced for probably frozen scallops. Pot sticker dumplings disappointingly thick/heavy. Ma Po bean curd was the exception - a tasty dish.

Without a doubt our favorite Chinese restaurant in the US. We spent years in Asia, so we have some experience. The selections are unique as well as ample in variety and portion size. Several vegetarian offerings are available. There is a small bar. Just off the popular and fun Church Street in Burlington. Just a short, easy walk from the... More

This was my third visit to this place. To say the least the food is great as well as the service. We will definately be visiting a lot since we want to try everything on their menu. I would come in on an empty stomach and you will not regret stopping in!!!!
