Great food and service

If you want Chinese food that's authentic, and not just fired rice, this is the place. All of the dishes that landed on our table were delicious, hot, and plentiful. This place has delicious food! I love the vegetarian options including the mock eel. Definitely worth a stop while you're in Burlington

My wife and I visited A Single Pebble for lunch. The lunch menu consisted of many of the same items that were on the dinner menu, but at a fraction of the cost. The food was very good, as well as the service,

I've been here ten to fifteen times , love the food , was recognized by the hostess even after a hiatus of a year or so. I know the food arrives as it is cooked but in the middle of a dinner of five people we waited and waited... A wait staff came and thought we were all through, and... More

I had read several rave reviews about the food at Single Pebble. My experience didn't begin to approach these reviews. I found the atmosphere comfortable, the service functional, but not personal or friendly, and a bit rushed. The food was disappointing. Sauces were sharp and heavy, after a bit all tasted the same. The scallops were cooked perfectly, yet overwhelmed... More

We go to Single Pebble once or twice a year, and it never fails to please. The food is always delicious -- the mock eel is superb. It is popular, so make reservations well in advance. The background noise level can be high so request an out of the way table or go early if you are looking for an... More

Love this restaurant. The staff is perfectly attentive and kind, food is excellent and fresh and atmosphere is cozy. I recently dined here for the second time and will be back again!

Generally the food has been very good with only occasional lapses with too salty or not warm enough. Problem was in ordering take-out I was told they were too busy to take my order. Felt like a second class citizen just because I take out. I took out regularly but not any more.

This place is very popular for two main reasons: wonderful food in a fine atmosphere. The cuisine stands above an ordinary Chinese restaurant like an NBA center stands above a midget. I especially love the mock eel. Make your dinner reservations as far in advance as you can, as they often get fully booked and won't have a table for... More

Needed a reservation. 5 of us had a great time, seated at a large table with the red lazy susan in the middle of the table. Service was very friendly. The tasting menu was not available for dinner since they were busy. Dumplings were a little above average. We really enjoyed the mock eel (shiitake mushrooms) but we agreed they... More
