Good food and service

Enjoyed a lunchtime meal here. The offerings are really wide range and interesting. I would say it is basic Asian ingredients infused with popular US items. Having spent a lot of time in Asia, I think this is a bit trendy rather than authentic but despite that the food was good. Char su bao too... read more

Plenty of authentic Asian offerings for every palate. From spicy to savoury to sweet and crunchy, the choices were varied and delicious. Our server was knowledgeable and help full answering questions and offering suggestions. Prices were fair for the quality and quantity of food. I will definitely visit again with friends.

A Single Pebble is amazing in many ways, let's start with the food. I am Chinese so I know what quality Chinese is and this is it, not that cheap Americanized stuff. They do do some fusion and that's pretty cool too. I had the lunch tasting menu and it was the best meal I've had in a very long... More

Crispy scallops in ginger sauce should be called battered deep fried in thick gluggy sauce at market price of $24 over priced for probably frozen scallops. Pot sticker dumplings disappointingly thick/heavy. Ma Po bean curd was the exception - a tasty dish.

Without a doubt our favorite Chinese restaurant in the US. We spent years in Asia, so we have some experience. The selections are unique as well as ample in variety and portion size. Several vegetarian offerings are available. There is a small bar. Just off the popular and fun Church Street in Burlington. Just a short, easy walk from the... More

This was my third visit to this place. To say the least the food is great as well as the service. We will definately be visiting a lot since we want to try everything on their menu. I would come in on an empty stomach and you will not regret stopping in!!!!

A Single Pebble - Burlington, VT - 4/7/2015 For over a year I've had the single pebble the hostess gave me last time in my cup holder... For over a year I've been yearning my eventual return to the area to experience the Chef's Sampler again... The Chef's Sampler... A array of small plates of varying flavours, courses and sauces... Went to a single pebble yesterday for a date night with my boyfriend. We had a pretty lousy week and wanted to go out and treat ourselves to something great. Went here on reccomendation from a coworker. I bought pad Thai and it ended up being a huge pile of flavorless noodles, onions, and little peanuts. It tasted more like... More

Friends told us it was great place for lunch??! We left it to chef( taster menu for 2)! It was worst food we both had in long time! Greasy, no flavor... Just terrible. Plastic table clothe, plastic chop stick... Really? $16 for one person is not cheap for lunch.

My wife and I had heard great reports about A Single Pebble in Burlington, VT so even tho it was a very cold evening we left our hotel and when to see for our selves. One of our sons had taught English in China for 5 years and we have eaten at many good Chinese restaurants. This restaurant would hold... More
