My husband - a culinary instructor who is picky- and I had a wonderful meal at Leunigs last week. The food was prepared so well, seasoned perfectly, creative and served by a young woman - Shanna, I think- who was professional, knowledgeable and just the right amount of friendly. Leunigs is expensive, but the kind of expensive that when you... More

It was my 1st time in Burlington and a friend from S. Florida recommended it very highly. Had a delicious lunch with the duck on the menu. Very friendly and helpful service that also recommended other local favorites. It is a charming upscale pub/bistro with an innovative menu of local ingredients. Well done.!

My wife and I had dinner outside a Leunig's Bistro. The oudoor dining area is right on the main strip in Burlington so it makes for great people watching. Our waitress was great at making suggestions on the menu and was very friendly. The food was really good!

At the recommendation of the Hotel receptionist, I decided to give this restaurant a try. It was Fourth of July at 4:15pm, not a very busy time of the day. We sat at our table for over TWENTY MINUTES and NOT ONE PERSON came over to take our order . Needless to say, we left and took our money elsewhere.... More

Great food , interesting dishes, artfully presented, but a bit pricey. But if you arrive before 5:45, a special "bistro menu" is offered-- soup/salad and entree for $15! That is a real deal, don't pass it up if it fits your time frame.

We were in Burlington visiting for the 4th of July and stopped here to eat. We had an excellent waitress who kept our drinks topped up. We ordered the Brie cheese plate as an appetizer which was excellent. I particularly liked the sour cherries which contrasted with the brie cutting the fatty richness quite nicely. My wife had the scallops,... More

I've never written a review online but felt compelled after I took my daughter and her 5 pfriends to Leunig's for a "grown-up" dinner at Leunig's to celebrate my daughter's Sweet 16th birthday. When I went to drop them off, the hostess was so grumpy that the girls asked me to stay with them until they were seated because they... More

While visiting UVM with my son, I had a simply delicious dinner that was greatly appreciated by both parent and teen. Many of the dishes feature local cheeses, fruits, meats, breads, and wine. We enjoyed it so much we returned for breakfast the next day. In addition, the rustic decor was friendly and interesting, and the service was very good.... More

The atmosphere is classic French bistro - tiny but cozy tables crowded together in a dining room (a bit more space in here), bar, and in season outdoors. Food is bistro style with some really inventive twists and is always excellent. Menu features local meats, cheeses, and produce. Portions are generous. There is a well chosen wine list. Service is...
