My boyfriend and I decided to travel up to Burlington, VT for a little road trip. We decided upon Trattoria Delia based on TripAdvisor reviews. The location is nice - not too far from the Church Street Marketplace in downtown Burlington. When we entered the restaurant we were promptly greeted by the hostess. There was only one other table dining... More

I recommend reservations, but if you don't have them you can wait in the bar next door. For starters, we had the antipastone plate. Cheeses, sausages, crackers. Great for sharing with the table. For dinner, the Osso Bucco was some of the best. Tender and falling off the bone. Lets move on to dessert - tiramisu. Need I say more!... More

My wife and I had dinner here during our New England Vacation. The staff is knowledgeable and it is quite romantic except the tables are a little close although until they absolutely have to, they leave an empty table between each table of dining guest. We each had Oso Buco at $32 with Risotto. It was wonderful. They also don't... More

We had previously had a great dinner at Trattoria's last year. We there a few weeks ago and it was nothing liike the first time. There was a VERY annoying background noise which we asked the waitress about she said it was the cooler and just to try to block it out. We couldn't wait to eat and get out... More

We have been to Trattoria Delia twice this year. While this recent visit was very good I actually preferred their winter menu. All pasta dishes we tried were excellent. I highly recommend starting with the Antipasti Misti, a house antipasti board with a selection of meats and cheeses. A great place for a date although both visits this year included... More

Friends raved about this restaurant. We looked forward to it. We shared an antipasti. Some different and nice items but not exciting. The dinner was anticlimactic - the confit if duck and gnocchi was greasy and bland. Tiramisu was overwhelming and not tiramisu but a pastry cream and lady fingers and large enough for 4. Not what I'd expect from... More

I have been going to Trattoria for the past 14 years, so I can't believe I've never reviewed it. Trattoria is consistently a place we have gone to over the years when we want to have a good dinner. We've gone with small groups, large family gatherings, or when taking someone out for work. No matter how large or small... More

This is one of my favorite spots to take my parents for a nice dinner. The restaurant has a wonderfully cozy Vermont atmosphere with amazing food. The gnocchi is to this day one of the best meals my mother and I have had - ever.

Recommended by a passer-by, we stumbled onto Trattoria Delia last week. Great food and wine, excellent service, nice wine list made for a memorable evening!

So many rave reviews, we couldn't wait to try it. We were very disappointed overall. The atmosphere is great, very relaxing. The staff is efficient but lacks warmth and a personal touch. The maitre d' was stiff and impersonal. The waitress was very efficient yet again was impersonal. We certainly didn't feel valued as a customer. The food also really... More

Hello srbeau645, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It certainly isn't what we like to hear, but your frank comments are how we become better as a restaurant. We really do value everyone who walks through our door and are disappointed to hear about a less than stellar visit like yours. I hope... More
