Flavors I Still Remember

Made reservations for a Saturday night during Freshman check-in weekend. Seemed like a 30-45 minute wait otherwise. Our table was in the front near the windows. Think it might be a little quieter there than in big room. We had the featured pizza that night with fresh heirloom tomatoes, chicken... read more

My son and I shared 2 pizzas - one with broccoli rabe and sausage, another with roasted corn and bacon. Both were delicious and we finished them without feeling overly full. The cocktails we ordered (Botticelli's Daugher and Negroni) were both very good, and we enjoyed a couple of the Italian amaros (digestif) at the end of the meal. The... More

This is a very busy spot on a Saturday evening. We had no reservation and waited about 45 mins. The upmarket pizzas are excellent. I had a mixed salad which was delicious and very filling. There was a buzz about the place and the crowd seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere.

Top notch ingredients, well prepared. We didn't like the dough as it was soft and we like ours crispy. But was thin, nicely charred and tasty. But the ingredients were fabulous -- we got the spicy soppressata with provolone cheese. Right amount of good tomato sauce, generous amount of soppressata, well balanced.

I love this place. Every time I visit Burlington I must eat here at least once. The food is excellent and fresh. The atmosphere is noisy and not that comfortable so just know the food will be worth it. I've lived in Italy for 20 years and know good food. There aren't many places in the states that I think... Loved this restaurant. Picked it based on Trip Advisor reviews. It was hands down tied with my best supper on vacation. We got there sort of late. Maybe 9. On a Wednesday and it was busy. The host was running around busing tables, seating people. Really working hard. He assured us he would have a table quickly. And he did... More

I have returned here many times on my visits to Burlington from the south and, since my first visit in 2012, it just keeps getting better and better! Love sitting at the bar, drinking wine and eating fabulous and unique pizzas with delicious fresh ingredients. You cannot go wrong here. Friendly staff, efficient service, great ambiance and that Burlington vibe... More

The pizza was really good, the service was good, there selection of toppings was ample. I would definitely go back if visiting Burlington again.

We can't say enough good things about Verita. Outstanding, unusual pizzas with an incredible fire-cooked crust. My favorites are those I never imagined I'd try.... an exquisite Italian corn and bacon, a wild mushroom, and a potato. I'm not vegetarian but some of the veggie versions are the most spectacular. Thin crust with a slightly crisp bite but a tender... More

Restaurant was packed and had a nice vibe. Smelled delicious as you walked in. Tasty wood fired pizza with fresh ingredients. We ordered take-out pizza and were told 20 minutes. We were there in just over 20 minutes and the pizza was stone cold which was disappointing. $32 for two basic pizzas doesn't seem like great value.
