There are two places to eat whilst in Burlington. Farmhouse and Verita. Verita is all about the crust. The pizza oven was imported from Italy and cooks the pizzas at extreme heat resulting in crisp exterior with a slightly doughy interior. Toppings are first rate local ingredients that are expertly matched. This place is a ton of fun and truly... More

We came back a second time after a mediocre first visit. This time was a lot better. Both pizzas were perfectly cooked. The wine was great and dessert to die for. I think the cannoli is one of the best I've ever had.

Surprisingly the smoked salmon pizza was incredible - I order it 2 out of 3 times when I go to Verita Great service great wine selection. Can get noisy- although some like that urban vibe.

We went on a Saturday around 7pm without reservations. Luckily we didn't have to wait and got a table right away! The adult beverage selection was awesome, good variety of craft beers and good offerings of non-alcoholic drinks. The pizza had a wonderful crust and was cooked to perfection. We got the house-made mozzerella for an appetizer which was good,... More

Needed a rez but were seated promptly. There were 5 of us, and after a full day of skiing we ordered 5 pizzas- no judging please. In order of favorites: white pizza with arugula and prosciutto; sausage with rapini; burrata; corn; mushroom rustica with truffle oil. But all were super and devoured. Not the best pizza I have ever had,... More

My 11year son is on a quest to find the best pizza in the country. This means we visit lots of amazing pizza places. Unfortunately for me, I cannot enjoy many of them because I cannot eat gluten. I have found a few places offer gluten free pizza on their menu. I have tried them all. Pizzeria Verita however stands... More

Does the upbeat, smiling solicitous of waitstaff inspire your confidence? Then Pizzeria Verita is the truest dinner option for you in Burlington. Just steps out of the high priced "core" parking, make a... More

Just reviewing the bar scene here with this review. Really inventive and creative cocktails. Great wines and beers. It is fun and bright and the servers know their stuff. They use a lot of italian liquers and spirits, so you'll have to ask what is what, but you won't be disappointed. Difficult place if you are looking for intimacy and... More

In Burlington Vt there are many pizza/flatbread places to choose from, simply given the fact that it's a college town. Verita is worth a visit simply for service! But their homemade mozzarella and Neapolitan style pizza crusts really set them apart and the moment you walk in you know it's not your mom & pop pizza joint. Verita means truth... More

Having been a longtime American Flatbread fan I was initially skeptical on my first visit. Now I am a total fan of this place. The pizza selection is very good and well thought out. I particularly like the Brussels sprout pizza! Wine selection is amazing and staff is super personable. Many places have tried to make a go in this... More
