Pizza to die for

I really really like pizza, and am very fussy about it, with the best pizzas I’ve had being in Manhattan and Montreux Switzerland. I want the crust to be chewy with that texture that tells you that they used quality flour and let the dough rise and fall properly. The sauce must taste homemade, and... read more

Warm and cozy with wood fired ovens visible from the front door, this place makes you feel good all over! The pizza is, without a doubt, the best I have ever had the pleasure to savor. The dessert pizzas are not to be missed so save room for one. This is a very popular place so reservations are advised. There... More

We went to dinner with a party of 10 and had a wonderful experience here. The pizzas were outstanding, the drinks imaginative and well-made and the staff very friendly and efficient. However the biggest surprise of the night was dessert. We ordered a nutella pizza and it was out of this world. I highly recommend it and we may go... More

I love this place! The wood fired pizza is so good. Crispy and charred on the bottom but chewy as well. The toppings are sublime. They don't overpower the crust. This place makes their own homemade fresh mozzarella. I love it as an appetizer with a drizzle of fruity olive oil. The cocktails are inventive and delicious. They make their... More

I love wood fired pizza. However, almost all taste pretty much the same, its the toppings that are different. Pizzeria Verita changes that. The crust is delicious and different that all the other crusts. Not crispy, not doughy, just great. The topics are completely different. Not just Vermont sausage and herbs, but corn, spacula (or whatever that Italian meat is... More

Great food, inspired menu, even though it's 'pizza'. But the combinations are just delish. Doting and educated staff. My only complaint would be the noise. There was not an empty seat in the house and it was very hard to have a conversation to the person across the table from me.

One of my favorite places in Burlington. Everything is always fresh, the pizzas are creative and they offer a great selection of wines, beers and thoughtfully crafted cocktails. It is one of the few places in Burlington that has an urban, European feel. Definitely the best, classic Italian pizza in VT!

This is more than just a pizza place. The delicious selection of salads and appetizers along with the innovative pizzas and micro brews make for a memorable dining experience. The ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Verita hits the sweet spot between casual and formal dining. Love this place every time I go.

Had a great dinner with a friend last night. We both ordered the Amalfi salad, excellent, and large size as well. Shared two pizzas, the Pizzarao and the Bianca, both were delicious. We also ordered dessert, I ordered the Cannoli which was ok, however I am a tough critic when it comes to Cannoli's. When you grow up eating Cannoli's... More
