Yummy and Fun

Popular and bustling, you'd better have a reservation and get there early too. Seating on the sidewalk, indoors and on the back patio were all filling up by 5 P.M. on a summer Friday night. Went here on a recommendation from our hotel. Waited more than a hour, and was disappointed at the service and the food. Wow, if this is what Burlington, Vermont has to offer, it's a pretty sad food destination. Food was non-descript and service was absolutely terrible. Ate and then left. Got dessert elsewhere. Would not recommend this restaurant. If I... More

This is a very nice place to have a meal or snacks outside and enjoy the nights in Burlington. Great selection of beer and nice menu of food. The atmosphere is nice and great for family or business meals.

Burgers were good but $16 each and then $1 to add pickles? There are many great places to eat downtown this burger was not 8 dollars better than the very good good burger at Vermont Brewing

My family and I have eaten at the Farmhouse several times since it opened, often for special occasions when we have wanted everything to be special and it has always been great! I own a business in Burlington where visitors will ask for recommendations and I always suggest this wonderful eatery. I do so with confidence that they will not... More

Delicious food, great beer and ciders, good service and great location. They're great at making accommodations for food sensitivities, too!

I recently went to the Farmhouse for dinner on a weekend night thoroughly expecting to wait a while for a table. What I wasn't expecting was how much fun I would have out on their back patio waiting for our table. We got very comfortable seats and proceeded to order drinks and have a really good time. Their craft beer... More

We sat out on their patio for a couple hours having some beer and only ate the cornbread but it was amazing! Good shady patio, good beer list, great cornbread. I can only assume from how delicious it was that everything else was great too.

Chicken was very tender with skin charred just right. The combination of baked beans, summer squash, and buttermilk slaw made a tasty bed for these chicken parts. The patio atmosphere was well done without trying to cram tables too close together. The wait staff was excellent, including the cheerful receptionist that it would be an hour wait. But it was... The food was good at the Farmhouse, and they had a great beer selection, but to be honest it felt like the staff was not going out of its way to be friendly and welcoming. It almost felt like they knew they were such a popular restaurant that they didn't need to impress anyone. I'm not sure, maybe it was... More
