Great Burgers make for a busy farmhouse!

My first visit here when they first open, was just OK and I felt like I over paid for my meal. However, I have come to love Farmhouse, after sticking to the basics: A Burger & Beer! Both are perhaps the best (and best beer list I have ever seen). Also, all ingredients are from local farms, which is... read more

Was very happy with the beer selection here. We were able to try a ton of different stuff that we'd never had before. My issue was with the staff. I understand that the upstairs is for dining only but this was never explained to us until after we'd settled down and had a few drinks already. We were then asked... More

One of he best burgers I have ever had. extensive beers on tap and by the bottle. Very casual and quite busy on a freezing cold night in the middle of the week.

Stopped in for lunch and was delighted by the beer selection on tap. Server was great and the food was good. Homemade ketchups and dips were a great addition. I enjoyed the grilled ham and cheese with apples, although I think the sandwich could have used a couple more Apple slices I was pleased. Hand cut fries were delicious too.... More

This is probably the best restaurant in Burlington, if not in VT. Great food, great food, great food, great beer, great beer, great beer. Can't do better. Have eaten here several times, always thrilled. Be prepared for a fairly lengthy wait for a table.

This is our go-to spot when we have friends in town. The ingredients are local, the meals are filling, and the burgers are delicious. Now I’m getting hungry just thinking about it…

Casual, farm fresh selections. Best if you're a meat eater. Always lively. Never been disappointed. Great location downtown; just off Church Street so great place to go after shopping.

nothing fancy here, but just really great dishes. There were a few minor problems with cheese-based dishes. Both the cheddar ale soup and mac&cheese came out a bit colder than expected. maybe someone burnt their mouth earlier in the week ??? But they both had great flavor. The pork schnitzel was great with the apples and parsnips. and the meatloaf... More
