Farmhouse has become our go-to place before or after the movies and for an informal date night. Sometimes the wait is long but the downstairs lounge or outdoor beer garden (depending on season) is a great place to hang out. There are always interesting people and the staff is pretty good. Food is consistent, especially like the lamb burgers and... More

We had a wonderful meal here during Vermont Restaurant Week. First off, the place was crowded, which was a good sign. We were seated immediately. The service was fast and friendly. The waiter was exceptionally well-informed about the foods and many alcohol choices. The meal was flawless, abundant, and delicious. Frankly, this first-time experience was much better than I thought... More

The food was delicious and they have the biggest beer menu I've ever seen. The menu was disappointing though as I felt it was too limited. I was expecting more variety. The charcuterie plate was delicious, love the Red Hen bread.

We showed up at 7 on a Saturday night, knowing there would most likely be a wait, but we knew that no matter how long the wait was, which ended up being 1& 1/2 hours, we were staying put. SO glad we did. We went out back to their incredible beer garden, which has the feel of being on a... More

The food was delicious and reasonably priced for being all local foods. The beer selection was unbelievable. I will go back for sure!

Great atmosphere and great selection of local beers which seem to rotate frequently. If you're into the whole farm to table thing, then this is a great spot for you. Most of the items on the menu seem to be connected to local producers, including a great diversity of Vermont cheeses. My burger was excellent and the beers I tried... More

Seriously, call ahead and ask for a table. Come early and have a beer at the bar. Everything is amazing. Vegetarian friendly. They will give you samples of beers if you are unsure, as we were coming from South Africa so some of the micro-brew concoctions were out of our reach. Wait staff is pretty knowledgeable but overall great vibe.... More

This place is crowded!! On a Saturday late afternoon, the wail was one hour and those who came later had about a 1.5 hour wait. I think the purpose is to get you to order one of the multitude of beers they offer. If your beer is bad, it's because you ordered something you were not sure about, not because... More

We had heard such great things about The Farmhouse but we were disappointed with our meal. The burger was good, but nothing over the top. The beer was so-so. We thought it was expensive and overrated. All I can say is, it was okay...
