This is a great place to go to try some truly exceptional VT beers and have a very good (albeit pricey) burger with some interesting toppings (such as pickled jalapenos). The wait for a table can get pretty crazy around normal dinner time, especially on weekends, so plan to get there a little early or late.

Our family has been to the Farmhouse many times and have enjoyed every time. Whether we are sitting at the bar or a table in the dining room it is a great experience. Local food and more beer options than you can imagine. If you are in Burlington definately go.

Good concept. Local food. But it's not great, it's over priced. The place is way too noisy. What it has going for it is the beer, the beer garden out back in the summer and the bar in the basement which is cozy. I do love the sister restaurant, El Cortijo, that does really high quality Mexican food (for Vermont,... More

The localvore food is expensive but well-prepared and tasty; the beers are interesting, and the servers are knowledgeable. Fun place to go with a few friends; close to Church Street Marketplace, Roxy Cinema.

If you are in the mood for a great hamburger and other delicious fare from local farms with the option of great beers, then bring your crew here. Wait staff is friendly, atmosphere is like a German-American pub with a pseudo beer garden out back.

The Farmhouse Tap & Grill is wonderful. Great atmosphere, fantastic burgers and perfect beer selection -- and it is especially wonderful if you do not have to adhere to any sort of budget. A typical burger ranges from $14. to $26. Way too expensive for me but stopping in for an occasional beer and small appetizer is definitely doable. If... More

Great restaurant in burlington. Amazing brew selection (Personal favorite being the Hill Farmstead Edward). I love the Cheddar Ale Soup, and have to say the Chicken and Waffles are phenomenal as well!!

Overpriced crowded and pretentious food. Sorry. I love what they're trying to do but this doesn't cut it.

Most dishes are very good, burger, pulled pork are awesome, everything is fresh. Beer selection is outstanding. You get what you pay for. PS: the basement is great in winter, beer garden in summer.
