I have eaten here several times and am always pleased with the food. There is a good selection of beer and traditional wursts. The waitstaff has always seemed eager to make sure the customers have a good experience.

The service was terrible, unattained waitstaff, food was barely edible, cold and not tasty. I have eaten in many German restaurants, both in the states nd in Germany. I have never had food that lacked flavor. The legions were as skimpy as he service.
The food and service was top notch. I used to be a waitress so the exceptional service by Amy was wonderful and very refreshing compared to mediocre service found these days. Everything she recommended to eat was amazing. Everything was fresh and hot. I'm not a beer drinker but she was able to recommend a beer that I fell in...

This was a great restaurant overall. The food was full of flavor. The staff was super friendly. On Wednesday nights, live music... great acoustic guitarist! My complaint: my husband got no vegetable with his entree. Four beers, one salad, two entrees, and one dessert = $100.
Was in Burlington due to winter storm. Dropped into Der Bierhaus and loved it. Call for reservations and ask for the second floor. Six German beers to select from including a Berliner Leis (sour, like a Lambic). The wurst and sides were very good. I would come here again when in town. Proust!
Best German food I've ever had, fast friendly service put aside any worries I had about the food ( I don't like bratwurst) and was an overall a+ experience, beer was cheapest in town and of the highest quality! A definite must visit if your in burlington.
I was raised with authentic German food. It's my heritage. Some of the food was authentic, some was "Americanized". It's worth a visit if you like sausages. The beer selection is great! The service was lacking. Food was overpriced for the amounts you got, but tasty. Overall, if you have a hankering: go. be prepared: tiny, "cozy" dining room space...

We lived in Germany, and we cook and know German food. We even use a German language cookbook.
THE BAD
We arrived to find they had NO Riesling wines available that night...this is a German restaurant with no Rieslings wines! Go to the local wine store and get some until your shipment comes in.
Ordered Jaeger Schnitzel....we know it and...
