Long Trail is consistently a highlight of our trips to VT. The beer is excellent and the pub grub never disappoints. But what makes this place special is the staff (Roy, Garrett, Eric, Megan...). They'll make you feel welcome and do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your visit.

We had enjoyed some of the Long Trail beers locally so decided to visit the brewery for lunch. We had a taster selection then chose our favourites. Well-cooked tasty burgers for lunch, good size portions too. There was a decent selection of food but I think most of it was a variety of pub fare. As I said though the... More

We drove a long distance out of our way to stop for lunch at this restaurant. We did some research on line first and then called as well just to be sure of their pet friendly policy. When we arrived, they had an outdoor area separate from the restaurant which we assumed would be where we would be seated. Our... More

Hi Tom, thank you for sharing this honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear of your less than satisfactory experience with us and apologize for the misinformation you received regarding our brewery pet policy. To clarify, the State of Vermont health codes do not allow animals anywhere we serve food and drink, including our outdoor riverside seating area. As a result,... More

What a wonderful brewery! This was our 10th brewery of a 12 brewery- 4 state tour. The bartender was fabulous and gave us good advise as where to stay and eat in Rutland Vermont.

This brew pub is located near Woodstock, VT and is a fun location for lunch. We took the free, self-guided brewery tour (very short), then were seated for lunch, and had a chance to try their beer. We ordered the grilled shrimp taco and the Vermont shaved steak and cheese sandwich. Both were very good, as well as the Farmhouse... More

I was able to pop into the brewery on my way home and it was very busy! The staff was all great, and we did the self tour and then posted at the bar to try a flight. The white bean dip was good, as a option for vegans/vegetarians. I really loved the new LIMBO IPA. Good time for a... More

We arrived at 10:30 am opening and took the tour of the brewery. Not a lot to see but worth it. We were the only patrons there so we had our choice of seating. The brewery is in a nice setting on the river. Outdoor seating area is nice, but we sat inside. We had the wing platter and a... More

We had a reservation for dinner at a fancy restaurant in Woodstock but cancelled after a wonderful afternoon of microbrews, good food and a lively very friendly atmosphere. Vermont at its best.

The Jonas wings (sweet beer spicy sauce) are awesome. Favorite beers were the Sick Day IPA and Double Bag Altbier. Definitely worth a visit. Nice self guided brewery tour too!

If you want a great hamberger - Organic meat from a local farm - try it! Delish! All their sandwiches are good! Enjoy a beer sampler - a little bit of everything - sit back - enjoy the river going by & have a great lunch. Long Trail Brew Pub is laid back, relaxed & a favorite place to eat!
