Good BBQ, Jambalaya, and amazing Mac & Cheese. Out door seating, but there is an indoor area. Prices were'nt bad either. Well worth the trip. More

I grew up in Bratt and return often to visit family. When it's open, we always make it a point to eat there. It's a fun place to eat and the roasted root vegetables are awesome! More

The Top of the Hill Grill is only open in good weather (May-Octoberish). Their food is really good, and it's a wonderful place to sit and look out over the West River. More

The pulled pork at Top of the Hill Grill is very good. The prices are a little high for the area, and the "other than beans" side dishes are just ok. Definately worth a stop if you're in Brattleboro when its open. More

I did not eat the ribs. Perhaps, I would have been happier. I ordered the brisket. The beef was slightly dry and tasted that it was baked in an oven. The barbeque sause covering it was great. So were the baked beans. The cole slaw was passable. There was no smoked flavor at all to the meat. Isn't that the... More

We live in Colorado and our son's wedding was in Walpole, New Hampshire in August. We were at a loss of how to get a great caterer to drive out to Alyson's Orchard where the wedding was and create a memorable rehearsal dinner for all the family and friends gathering that weekend -- incidentially, that was the weekend that Tropical... BBQ sausage, pork and chicken, salads and summer fare. Delighful spot overlooking the river, with a meandering deck that feels like a grown-up tree house. Great for lunch or a very casual dinner. More

Our Pop Warner group - about 24 kids and parents - was in town for a game this weekend and we needed a place to meet up at the last minute. Spoke to the owner who offered to set up buffet for a per head price, again at the last minute. Wasn't sure what to expect but he made a... More

Have been going there for years and the food is consistent, the Blues music fine, and again the wildlife fun to watch: Turtles, muskrats, blue herons, hummingbirds, etc. Sits overviewing a small pond and the outdoor environment makes the whole experience a sense treat. Never had a problem with bugs, but indoor seating is available for the outdoor challenged. The... More

Not the best BBQ i've had, but defintely a 4 out of 5. They have some sausage variations that are worth trying and have your staples such as cornbread, chicken, ribs, pulled pork, brisket, red beans. Small eating area outside only, and bring your cash- No credit cards here! They start serving lunch around 11 am, prices are slightly high,... More
