The ambiance is stellar: picnic tables overlooking a valley lit up by the sunset! Unfortunately, the food was nothing to write home about. My smoked turkey was plentiful, but lacked almost any smokey flavor. Sides were good enough though; slaw and baked beans. Not big on plastic utensils and paper plates either -- bring your own!

The Top of the Hill Grill overlooks a beautiful valley and has a bunch of tables outside: it's really laid-back and relaxed. The food is all really really good. We had perfect Mac&Cheese, tender pulled pork and immense burnt ends. The sides were superb: coleslaw, juicy cornbread and porky baked beans. We wanted to eat every last bite but the... More

We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and have to agree with the other reviewers. Really good meat and sides. Excellent sauce and great views.

Had visitors who wanted to stop for lunch as we were driving by. We have driven buy 100's of time and never stopped - what a mistake. A fabulous menu (difficult to choose-all sounding good). All 5 of us enjoyed our meals and we have been back twice since July. All three experience exceeded expectations.

I have been to the Grill many times and have tried several items on the menu,it would be hard to say what is the best. Recently I brought friends on a motorcycle ride to the grill,my buddy's wife said she was wondering why we road all the way to Vermont for BBQ,halfway through the meal she said I totally get!

A great spot to hit if you live in the area, just visiting or stopping by on the way further north like we were. As a vegetarian, the options were super - the tempeh burger is fantastic with avocado. But I admit I had to try some of the pulled pork - and I was glad I did. We stopped... More

Top of the Hill is a staple for me. They are a totally outdoor, seasonal grill. I give them a very good for they're delicious barbecue and especially they're blackened catfish. Try it. The view is great and the people are very friendly. They don't require it but please leave a tip... they deserve it!

My daughter had her wedding reception at Scott Farm in Brattleboro and the food was catered by Top of the Hill Grill. Best wedding food ever! Sides were baked beans, cole slaw, mac 'n' cheese, and cornbread. The mains were Vermont-hickory smoked pulled pork and quartered chicken. Everything was absolutely delicious but the baked beans and cornbread were phenomenal.

A friend took me here during my visit to Brattleboro. I ordered the catfish over cajun rice & I can't say enough good things about this place -- the food is top notch. It's so good that I'm finding the time to write reviews on both their fb page and here! Top of the Hill Grill is now one of... More

Top of the Hill Grill rivals some of the Southern BBQ I've had. A must have when in Brattleboro during the summer. They should feature this place on the Food Network!
