Perfectly cooked in a pool of butter

This was my first visit to The Marina since I was a kid. The location and outdoor seating were what convinced me to give it a try and honestly that's enough to make even mediocre food worth it in many cases. I don't care for fried or heavy food which made up much of the extensive menu so I chose... read more

I really liked this place! The food was definitely home made and it was very, very good. The buffet has a fantastic selection and it was fun trying different things. The only downside was that it got crowded at the buffet, but with a little patience it worked out. I loved the view of the water; it was a great... More

What a find! Our innkeeper suggested the Marina for dinner, great advice. The staff is very friendly and really interesting to chat with. This is not a production line place--your food might take an extra 5 minutes to come because your waitress is meeting the new baby of a regular customer for the first time. It's a very local vibe,... We sat outside by the water and had a good time. I had the Lobster and Scallop Pie and my boyfriend had the duck special. Both were well portioned, reasonably priced and tasty. Our waitress was nice and professional. It was casual and relaxing, and I would go back again. Inside is quite nice and spacious with a big bar... More

If you are in the area, this is a great place to have a quick lunch or relaxing dinner! The atmosphere is welcoming, with a dining area and a bar/lounge that both over look the river. During the spring, summer and fall months, their deck is open. The menu at The Marina has everything from seafood to meat to vegetarian.... More

The place was packed but we still got a seat. They were able to accommodate my dietary needs & it was delicious. Be sure to ask for Amanda!

Four people. One burger a little too well done, 2 fried whole belly clams. Clams were mostly strips and the oil hadn't been changed in a while. One Cioppino that was pretty good. 4 beers and the bill was $135 plus $25 tip. I thought their prices were high for the quality of food we received. If the food was... More

We often visit this restaurant with family which includes our two granddaughters, both under ten. The things we like are the children's menu, the atmosphere, the service, the cleanliness and the variety of menu choices. The lobster bisque and the garden salad were excellent. For an entree, I had the baked haddock and was disappointed by the amount of butter... More

This is one to try out for sure. Clam Chowder to start was perfect. Scallops in broth with tomatoes with sides of red potatoes and green beans. Very good place to eat. Active bar area also.

Ravioli was amazing. Garlic bread was the best I ever had! Everyone enjoyed their dishes. We ate there 2 days in a row.
