A convenient stop for us off Route 91 on our way from NY to Quebec City. Priced reasonably well but small portions. Tasty.

Delicious sandwiches, reasonably priced - my favorite is the salmon on multigrain with cream cheese and capers.

We get the breakfast platters for our business meetings at work and they are always well prepared and presentable. Sandwiches at lunch time are also delicious and well made. Definitely enough for the money.

I had to get some work done one recent morning in Brattleboro, and I had a great temporary home at the works bakery cafe. For breakfast I had a cheese bagel with salmon spread, and for lunch a BLT with specially made garlic mayo. The service was especially friendly, the food was very good and the atmosphere was laid back.... More

We were looking for a quick and easy breakfast. The Works fit the bill perfectly. Great bagels. Had a basil tomato bagel with egg, spinach and provolone - nice way to start the day. Juices, teas, & coffee all available. Mostly indoor seating, with a couple of outdoor sidewalk tables. Pleasant place for a simple yet delicious breakfast.

I really enjoyed breakfast here. I am low-carb, and they did everything they could to accommodate me, even coming up with a fat bomb! I had a breakfast bowl without bread, and it was really good. The only thing I would recommend is that if you like crispy bacon you need to ask for it. I had an iced coffee... More

I must admit up front we did not eat here. We tried. The list of food looked very appealing - to an adult. We were there at noon on a Friday and many people were in line. Menu reminded me of a McAlister Deli. But nowhere could I find a list of kid-friendly food. I asked for a kid's menu... More

We were sorry to see your review. Like many cafes—different from restaurants—we don't have a specific menu for children; however, we have lots of kid-friendly items. In fact, parents bring their children to our cafes specifically for our kid-sized tables and chairs, even window seats in some of our kids' areas. While our staff certainly missed the mark by not...
