My family and I were looking forward to having lunch here but menu was limited and my kids only wanted a brownie which was just ok. My ham and cheddar had way too much honey mustard and my sweet potato chipotle soup was flavorless. Service was not good and staff seemed confused.

This is a great spot to get a sandwich and meet friends or business associates. Good wifi, lots of windows for watching people go by, lots of comfortable seating and well organized so even if the staff is a little flakey, you can still get your food and a good, clean seat in a short amount of time.

I think you’ll find this place Slightly better than big fast food. The food was stock restaurant fair with this place being in Vermont I was very disappointed. Vermont has some of the best food and it would go a long way to help the local farmer. Also the people that work there not that friendly. With a bit of... More

Awful experience! We stopped here for lunch yesterday. First, they got our order wrong. Next, we went to get our coffee and they were cold! When I spoke with the cashier, she said, "We stop brewing at 2pm." Then why are you charging full price at 3:30??? The bathroom was out of paper towels, mostly because there were piles of... More

You'll want to just hang out here for a while. It's worth a little extra driving to stop here on the way through on I-91.

I think that this is a wonderful company. They are small so are not all "corporatized" (at least not yet). They locally source food but have consistent menu items from store to store. They recently donated sweet goodies for my nonprofit group and did so with a smile. The artichoke and farmer's sandwiches are very good as is the lovely... More

Driving north on Route 91... got off for lunch... Main Street in Brattleboro,,, chose the Works Café. Big mistake, Half a dozen kids behind the counter and no adult supervision. Use your imagination. Had the Hefty Hummus wrap. Not hefty at all. The kid thought hummus was a spread. No matter how much I asked for more. A sprinkle of... More

I work in Brattleboro and eat here about once a week. As a vegetarian, sandwich options are often pretty boring. My favorites here are the fresh mozzerella on ciabatta and the roasted artichoke panini. They also have good brownies, etc. and I often buy day-old bagels to eat at the office. One negative is that their hummus is pretty bland.... More

We had a quick lunch here on Sunday afternoon with noisy children. No one minds the kids or the noise. It is kind of an upscale Panera. Plenty of gluten free bread and other gluten free options. Friendly quick service. Great coffee and soft drinks.

A nice casual atmosphere, okay if you are alone, or for a whole family. There is seating by the windows overlooking the street. A good spot for breakfast, or lunch, or just coffee in Brattleboro. There are sandwiches, salads, soups, smoothies, at moderate prices. 'Humane' meat and vegetarian options. Breakfast choices are offered all day.
