We had a quick lunch here on Sunday afternoon with noisy children. No one minds the kids or the noise. It is kind of an upscale Panera. Plenty of gluten free bread and other gluten free options. Friendly quick service. Great coffee and soft drinks.

A nice casual atmosphere, okay if you are alone, or for a whole family. There is seating by the windows overlooking the street. A good spot for breakfast, or lunch, or just coffee in Brattleboro. There are sandwiches, salads, soups, smoothies, at moderate prices. 'Humane' meat and vegetarian options. Breakfast choices are offered all day.

I've eaten here many times and the food is always good. The paninis are the best - I recommend the Super Chicken sandwich. I usually can't eat the whole thing and bring half of it home for later. It's pretty laid back and so is the service, so you have to go with the flow.

While shopping in Sams in Brattleboro we asked where we could get a good soup and sandwich. Two suggestions came and we picked "The Works", one block up the hill on the same side of the street. So, as you enter you find a happy buzz in the room, nice tables and chairs, with some comfort chairs along part of... More

This being our first visit to the area, and in early November (and a bit chilly), and being a late Saturday morning, we were looking for a nice spot to have a coffee and lunch. Reviews of this spot on T.A. were promising and so we went for it. Generally speaking…it was really just average, and honestly, just a bit... More

The location is prime and I enjoyed looking out on the busy main street. My sandwich was delicious and full of fresh ingredients and my friend said her soup was excellent; however, the service left something to be desired. The format for getting one's food was unclear and calling out a name in a busy restaurant was ineffective so I... More

Although the staff was cheery and helpful, and the food was fairly decent, the coffee was terrible and the bathrooms were so disgusting that it put us off.

Great place right in the middle of town and one of the few open on Sundays. Excellent coffee and imagine, scrambled eggs in a paper cup! They pride themselves on obtaining organic foodstuffs and make most of their ingredients in-house. They also strive to support local farming operations by purchasing close to home. There are several locations in New Hampshire... More

Everything here is fine. Not great. Fine. It's a chain and the employees are chain-like employees and the fare is consistent mediocrity.

Amazing selection of bagels. They have eggs and many fresh ingrediants . Lunch sandwiches can be on either bagels or a nice selection of breads. Everything is fresh. Friendly service. Free wi-fi. Relaxing place to eat. They even have an area for kids.
