This place had the best deli sandwiches. I got a turkey and cheese wrap with all the fixings and was delighted with my meal. I also had dad's homemade potato salad-- delicious--- and a slice of apple pie. I can't wait to go here again!!!

My friends and I spent a week in Vermont for vacation celebrating my friend's upcoming wedding. We all were pretty excited to visit the Vermont Country Deli based on the reviews from Trip Advisor. The deli is absolutely delightful. Throughout the week we stopped by twice for lunch, and if it were up to me I would have visited many... More

The sandwiches are very good nice cold salad selection. One of the best deli's I've ever been to. It's clean, very country like. Just what we were looking for and would expect to find in VT. The but... After ordering $55 in food the young lady checks us out, puts the food into a bag and doesn't put the drink... More

Great comfort food with a country twist await you here. There is no seating but you can picnic within walking distance at the covered bridge which has a few picnic tables around it. There are delicious sandwiches, salads, Mac n cheese, and desserts to include whole pies and cookies the size of a dinner plate to share. Great lunch stop... More

This place is GREAT! The choices are incredible and everything is FRESH, made to order by friendly people who clearly love working there. All of the breads are sliced from the loaf right as you place your order. The portions of meat are huge and the toppings are loaded on without being messy and wet. All of their salads and... More

We had heard about this deli many times, but this was our first opportunity to stop by and see for ourselves. Everything was fresh and delicious. So many things from which to choose and from our experience...you could go wrong. The fillings were extremely generous. We would have been very satisfied with half sandwiches...but...ate every bite of the those we... More

We picked up great freshly made sandwiches and popped across the river to a marina to eat riverside on some picnic tables. The sandwiches were tasty and made with good ingredients and not overstuffed, better than thick layers of tasteless cold-cuts.

Read a few recommendations and put this on our list to stop by. First of all it is adorable inside and they have so many great dishes, pastries, wines, jams, sauces..it is crazy. I wish the had a place to sit and have lunch or a snack. Unfortunately, it is all to go. We just looked around and grabbed dessert... More

After the long drive from home to VT we got off the highway in Brattleboro and there to greet us was the famous VT Country Deli. Heard a lot about this place and how great it is and sure as heck, the raters were on the dime. Many selections, home prepared and cooked - everything from soup to nuts -... More
