I confess I have splurged sometimes on the higher-priced foods that I find in the Vermont Country Deli. I do believe that almost anyone will find something they like there. It's certainly to their credit that they carry Mocha Joe's coffee! And the food is hot and fresh when it's supposed to be, and packaged conveniently. But you will find... More

Love it when I am short of time, just run in and grab whatever suits my fancy, wonderful choices and the sweets are heavenly. Friendly, efficient and always smiling staff make it a pleasant experience.

Not trip would be complete without a meal from The Vermont Country Deli. Once inside you will be amazed at what you find. There is a Deli counter with hot and cold dishes. Pulled pork and mac and cheese are among my many favorites. This trip I had an oversized BLT. The cool fall weather adds to the enticement and... More

I wish I lived near this place! Such a great variety of food choices! We stopped here to pick up food to take back to the hotel for supper. It was difficult to decide as everything looked so good! There are ready made salads of all kinds, burritos as big as your arm, egg rolls, pot stickers, any kind of... More

Deli is on route 9 but is well worth the effort to find a parking place in front. The food is great whether you're getting sandwiches for a picnic or picking up entrees for dinner. Love the maple pulled pork & the molasses cookie is a favorite.

Their macaroni and cheese is to die for! I popped in the deli today and decided to buy a "take and bake" container of their macaroni and cheese for dinner. I put it in the oven for 45 minutes until it was bubbly with a nice brown crunchy topping. I split it in half for my husband and I and... More

Lots of country gifts and food. Holiday weekend and the place was packed. A little to crowded if your the claustrophobic type...beware. Also the bathroom is a porta potty next door..beware again. Once inside I suggest you get your beverages and snacks before getting in the deli line especially if line is long. It will snake over to the register... More

I stop at The Vermont Country Deli on a regular basis for great treats, a quick lunch, a good breakfast sandwich and all are a great value and served with a smile. I wish other places in town learned some customer service skills from this team!

This is a cute little place, chock full of any number of things, from gifts, to syrups, to candies, to deli food. We didn't see anything deli-wise that was too interesting for us, as we really didn't want a sandwich. There are definitely other choices, but none seemed to appeal. It was fairly busy, and several people were purchasing food... More

If you want a quick lunch great place to stop. No dining in. No way of leaving this place without satisfying every need. Sandwiches are big so I ordered 1/2 sandwich. Has the chicken salad with nuts and the Apple Brie soup. Very very vey good.y husband made his own contraption. He was happy happy :). We than ate at... More
