If you are transient or local, great place to eat!! Only a couple hundred feet from I-91. Fast. Great variety from healthy to clog-your-arteries food and desserts. Recently expanded parking lot (careful backing into busy street), with sufficient parking now. More expensive than chains, but WELL WORTH IT. We locals eat here a lot too, not just the "flat-landers".

We stopped as we were arriving late to our bed and breakfast in Brattleboro. Plenty of gluten free bread and gluten free options. The Boursin cheese and mushroom tart was great! Cheese, crackers, fruit, sandwiches and wine (purchased elsewhere), and we did not have to leave our cost inn.

If you are driving down I-91 and your hungry, exit 2 will get you a great place for a quick sandwhich or other deli food. I always try something new and I've never been disappointed. The molasses cookies are amazing as well!

Made a lunch stop here based on all the great reviews. Excellent sandwiches, really fresh and the bread amazing. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Will be coming back next time up north.

Sandwiches are very good. Everything is fresh and almost everything in the store is from Vermont so a great way to support local economy while getting a great product. Only thing is is that this place is really expensive so go in with a full wallet .

Needed a quick stop for lunch before doing the drive back from New York. Stopped here and food was excellent. Great sandwiches, everything fresh, lots of local products and interesting stuff. Recommend stopping in for a bite or to get some treats. Clearly everyone else knew this as many cars were coming and going and the place was full of... More

This place has had its ups and downs over the years. I think they've finally hit their stride. Provided, it's an excellent tourist attraction but the selection is excellent and the coffee is good. Who needs more, really?

Truly excellent and diverse prepared foods and delicious sandwiches made to order. I was advised to try their special mac and cheese and WHOA, is it the best I've ever had. My husband got the famous pulled pork sandwich. We plan on coming back to make Vermont Christmas goodie bags for some family members. They have everything you would expect... More

When we visit friends in Vermont, we often stop here to bring prepared foods to their home in order to give our hostess a break from cooking. Last month was no exception and all of our choices from potato encrusted fish and pulled pork to a variety of sides, were delicious, well seasoned and fresh. The desserts and specialty foods... More

For years the Vermont Country Deli has been a destination. Matter of fact no trip to Vermont would be complete without it. Upon arriving in Brattleboro we beeline here to pick up our picnic lunch. While our choices vary, it always consist of the sweet pulled pork. A variety of sides accompany the pork, mac and cheese, egg rolls, pasta... More
