Late lunch with our pup

We sat outside the cafe on a hot day under shade and had salads and bakery yummies with our pup happily at our side. Dressings were all wonderful and the food tastes as if crafted with Vermont organic love.

On our weeklong tour of Vermont we've been having lunch in bakery/cafes. This one was our favorite. Sandwiches were large and fresh, lemonade refreshing and tangy. Dining area was noisy and somewhat rustic. Suggestion: grab it to go and find a nice spot for a picnic.

We enjoyed a great veggie sandwich at a reasonable price. Also had a mixed green salad and large choc chip cookie that were excellent. Wish we lived closer!

Had a great cob salade and sandwhiches on their home made bread. Hard to pass up their bakery items, muffins great. Back part of restaurant at lunch very loud & noisy. May be better at front tables if available. Hope they can keep the place going as workers want to continue if owner retires. So happy it was still open... More

Their service is slow & dis-organised. The interior layout awkward. We have tried their variety of baked goods, breads, and pizza over a period of years- but all to no avail. Can't find a single favorite among them. Most of the items don't have much flavor, and seem either overbaked or, in the case of the vegetable filled, soggy. Overpriced?... More

Stopped here for lunch on several previous occasions. They have good selection of hot and cold sandwiches. Very good. But do not forget dessert. This most recent visit was just for some Bart's Ice Cream - a wonderful local (MA) ice cream. Glad to see they are remaining open for business, and thoroughly enjoyed eating my ice cream outside on... More

Nice little bakery cafe on the main street of Brattleboro. Really enjoyed my pastry and lemonade in the back room with a view of the Connecticut River. Amy's was about to close but there was such an outcry that they decided t stay open and are looking for someone to take over.
