Every local we queried recommended T. J. Buckley's, but unfortunately they were not open early in the week. The second choice seemed to be Fireworks, so we gave it a whirl. The place was hopping for a Tuesday night, but luckily we were seated right away. Took advantage of their special, which offered 2 salads or apps, two pasta or... More

Love that brattleboro has a nice little downtown restaurant. I've eaten at firworks a few times now and am always impressed with they're good honest food. They have a concentration on Italian, but also have other very good fare. I would recommend Fireworks to anyone for a great meal and super value.

Hands down, Fireworks is my favorite place to eat in Brattleboro. It is due a combination of fantastic food (homemade pastas and pizza; specials with an emphasis on what is local and in season), an interesting and full bar (try a special or go with your usual and you shouldn't be dissapointed), and a good atmosphere. It's the kind of... More

What a great find. A variety of seating and locations. Enjoyed the fresh cocktail men and the variety of dishes. Enjoyed a great marscapone dessert.

This was a fun place to go while we stayed in the area. The menu had a lot of choices and we tried several of the options available. I had a pasta special with lobster that was delicious and hearty -- I wound up taking leftovers back to our B&B. The service was very attentive, even though they were quite... More

We arrived late Saturday night and this was the only restaurant with an operating kitchen. Devoured crunchy, tasty pizzas and topped off the meal with some scrumptious desserts. Nice atmosphere and service.

I like going to Fireworks but it's pricey for pasta, bread and spices. If you add a glass of wine or a beer, you can't get out for less than $50 for 2 not including the tip and it's just pizza and pasta. Feels "cool" .....atmospherically.

We stopped here in Vermont during this past weekend visit. The bar menu only had Pizza and it was somewhat dimly lit without a large crowd there. The pizza was fine but wasn't the best I'd tasted (I have lived in Italian Brooklyn). After eating here, I'd wished we'd gone to the brewery down by the river a few blocks... More
