I have gone to Cafe Provence many times over the years for dinner and lunch. The food is always excellent. It is a gem of a restaurant in downtown Brandon. I feel we are very lucky to have a restaurant of this quality in our midst. To top it off the desserts are over the top delicious.

We were on a two day long weekend and stayed at the Gazebo Inn in Brandon Vermont. (separate review). When we arrived, we asked about a dinner spot and they suggested Café Provence. We went for a rather early dinner as they were full later on that evening. When we arrived they showed us to our outdoor table right away,... More

Had the burger off the bistro menu. Very good. My wife had the BLT which was excellent. Both come with fries and a great salad. Moderately priced for lunch. Good service and the restaurant was very clean. I recommend this place for a great lunch.

My friend and I came here for a late lunch; I know that some of the reviews expressed a time issue; yes, service wasn't speedy (hence the 4 stars-should be 5 stars considering the food) but this isn't a fast food venue. We opted to eat at a table on the patio. It was a glorious VT day, the waitress... More

Four of us had dinner here Friday, All four meals, salads, entrees and wine was spot on. The service was as good as the meal!! Seeing the deserts in the case by the entrance enticed us to indulge!! Why did I only give this place 3 put of 5... NO ESPRESSO...the machine was "broken" and had been for some time!!!!... More

After hiking nearby Mt. Horrid and the Great Cliffs, we went into Brandon looking for something to eat. We knew of Cafe Provence but had never eaten there before and were pleasantly surprised to find it open. From the extensive brunch menu we selected the soup of the day, a wonderful rustic tomato soup and an excellent grass-fed burger. The... More

This was my second visit to Cafe Provence, but it was my husband's first experience there. He was suitably impressed by the delicious food and great service! I ordered the Quiche Lorraine which came with a soup or salad - I chose the Rustic Tomato Bisque and was not disappointed. The quiche was delicous, finely textured and moist; my husband... More

An French oasis in the middle of Vermont. What a treat! Great food beautifully prepared and fine service. This cafe has wonderful food selection as well. It has outdoor dining on it's deck. Highly recommended for anyone in the area. Meals are priced fairly for the high quality of food.

Cafe Provence offers an excellent selection of foods for both lunch and dinner. It doesn't offer a catalog of food selections, just a few very carefully prepared and genuinely tasteful culinary delights. Likewise, its wine list is very selective and in keeping with its food offerrings. I heartily recommend it. One note: during the winter, remember to bring a sweater.... More
