Delicious breakfast - friendly staff.

Stopped for breakfast and ate outside. The staff here is very friendly and seem to really enjoy what they're doing. The pancakes are delicious. The hash and homefries were equally tasty.

Papa Pete's is our favorite place for breakfast. The food is really well cooked, served hot and flavorful. There is a huge variety of breakfast choices. I was shocked at the large, dinner-plate sized pancake. Glad I only ordered one. My husband favors the home fries. And we could use the outside seating and keep our dog with us. She... More

What can I say, this place is fantastic, prices are excellent, food is excellent, food portions are big & the staff always go above & beyond. My wife goes for the MASSIVE 14" pancake with any/every topping possible & for me (after many visits & trying the whole menu) I go for the kitchen sink that consists of huge stuffed... More

My husband and I were staying in Bennington, Vt for the Solid Sound Festival happening in North Adams, MA and stumbled upon this tasty breakfast spot. We both ordered eggs Benedict (mine was the biscuits and gravy version) with coffee. They don't take debit cards so be prepared to bring cash.

Bottom line, it's destination with good people and good food. The hospitality was outstanding; upon entering I felt as if I had been dining at the establishment for years. While my friend and I happened to stumble upon Papa Pete's by chance, it's definitely worth traveling to. No better breakfast around. They have pancakes that would make Uncle Buck jealous.

If you can look past the out-of-date and odd décor, with Santa Clauses, pumpkins, and summer flowers, this is a good restaurant! Nice waitress. Food was 'spot on' good. Prepared perfectly. Didn't have to wait for it that long. We were starved when we arrived in Bennington, and drove everywhere looking for a place. I happened to see this and... More

Even though we were able to be seated right away it took us over 30 min to get our breakfast. The waitress seemed new (which was fine) but she had the owner constantly harping on her, and watching her every move. We also got served the wrong food and had to wait even longer for them to correct it. Not... More

A little diner, amusingly decorated all at once for every holiday! I ordered pancakes thinking it would be a small stack - it was like a pan "CAKE" and delicious. I ordered crisp bacon and it might just be the Best Bacon I've ever ordered out - perfect. I honestly did not try any of the other food, but service... More

We went to Papa Pete's for lunch today, although we have been there many times for breakfast. I had the best Reuben sandwich I've ever had, and that's saying something. It was perfect. We go to Papa Pete's regularly as we find it's the best place for miles around for breakfast. No complaints whatsoever...and we appreciate their bargain card for... More
