Great Food really good prices, fast service, its cash only but you can get it and now pretty quick even with a line outside. A must if your in bennington and you like diners.

Eclectic breakfast along with breakfast staples. Try the Harvest Pancakes with Real Vermont Maple Syrup. It doesn't get any better!!

Oh, such good food in a hometown atmosphere, lots of locals and friendly waitresses. You can't miss out on this fun experience, back to the fifties!

Went for breakfast and sat at the counter and enjoyed every minute. The diner really is an old metal real diner. The food was outstanding and the menu had the old standards as well as some very creative dishes. Colored papers cover a wall with descriptions of the specials. A wonderful experience if you want to go to a real... More

Stepping into the Blue Benn is like an episode of "Diners Drive-ins and Dives" on the Foodnetwork. The place does not have much curb appeal and it's small, so you will likely have to wait if you want a booth as seating is limited if you don't want to sit at the counter. I felt like a deer in the... More

Blink and you'll miss this place. This is an extremely small old diner, with only a handful of booths and counter space. Cash only, which is clearly stated when you come in, but people don't always read signs. Good home cooking. Great staff. You will wait if you go during peak hours.

We had the misfortune of stopping at the Blue Benn on recommendation of some friends. It was a cold day last winter (Feb. 2014). We were greeted by a surly waitress who promptly told us we had to have a seat in a cold, wind blown enclosure just outside the main entrance. We wanted to sit at the counter with... More

First time here had ginger pancakes--not cooked enough for my taste. VERY filling portion. It's the smallest diner I have been in, so a bit cramped. Got there after the lunch rush at a not very busy time of the year, so there was no wait for a table.

At first glance you may pass up on this place with its old-fashioned, metal box facade, NJ Diner from the '40's transplant but you'd be missing out on a unique Bennington experience with great food to boot! Atmosphere is briskly-paced and the ambience isn't anything at all fancy but the menu items are plentiful with more options off of the... More

If you want a great diner to stop at, the Blue Benn should be on your list. The food is very good and inexpensive. Only downside is you may have to wait to be seated as the place is popular and not overly large.
