For a trip back to the 50's and 60's, this is the place to go. A fun place for a meal. Be aware that it is cash only.
Small & quaint with a well used counter that reflects all the burgers & fries that have been enjoyed by previous hungry folks! Huge pie selection & invade you still aren't convinced here is the pièce de résistance --ALL DAY BREAKFAST! Bring quarters for the table top jukeboxes & a big appetite because the servings are giant!
So glad we stopped here for breakfast the first morning we got into town. The pancakes were amazing with real syrup and they had real jelly in a jar not those crappy little packages , very friendly and attentive waitresses ! We will visit again next time were in Bennington
We stopped in early one Sunday morning when we saw all the cars in the driveway. Seems ALL the locals go here. Good sign right? Well, there we two waitresses, we got the one who was going to do it her way when she wanted. She came by to take our order when we CLEARLY were not ready and then... More
When we arrived on a Satruday afternoon around 1 there was quite the line. Since we had been here before we had our hearts set on eating here again. We waited about twenty minutes, we must have come at the rush! But it was completely worth it. They have a big menu but my favorite is the baked mac and... More
We were two couples, staying overnight in Bennington on our way to the Maine coast. We went to the diner for breakfast, found a very crowded Saturday morning spot, and found seats at the counter. They had an amazingly varied menu. We all had dishes we liked and we especially enjoyed the welcoming, gracious wait staff.
The place was packed, a real diner brought to the area in 1948, We spent 45 minutes waiting (no names on list--just the honor system as to who was next in line) with folks from all over the country who say they drive miles just to eat here. The visit was like dropping back in time to the 1940's. One... More
We stopped here based on the Tripadvisor review. It is a great little diner! The waitresses are typical diner waitresses. They try to act brusk but they are really very nice! The food was good. It is not gourmet but who would expect that anyway? It was a fun experience and our waitress made it so! good comfort food!!
After reading all the reviews for the Blue Benn Diner - we had to check it out. It's a funky little fun diner. We got there after 1:30 in the afternoon and still had a short wait. We obeyed the rules and stayed in the entryway til called! Our waitress was pleasant. the only confusing thing was that besides the... More
