We had a great time eating lunch here. There was a wait, but it's a popular place. Our family loved the nostalgia of the place, and we were happy to take our kids to a place like this, which aren't much in existence anymore.

My wife and I went to this diner for breakfast and the food was good. We waited 20 mins for for a table. The only negative about this place is that it is dirty in appearance.

Wow, what a place! Both the food and the friendly service are top notch. When your server is humming a tune and calls you, "Hon", it doesn't get any better than that. The food is so creative that this restaurant could be in any city in the US, even big, fancy, pretentious cities, and it would be popular. There is... More

Real old time Vermont diner. Zero frills, huge selection and decent prices. Not all the food is great. Pie crust on the quiche and pie was under cooked. Chili and Indian pudding were excellent. Should definitely try if in Bennington.

We stopped here for lunch while touring the area and decided to stop by for a bite. We arrived one hour before closing and our first impression was that it was small, yet retro. It was small and in need of some attention, yet it was clean enough for our standards. We ordered a chicken fried steak and a reuben,... More

Oh, such good food in a hometown atmosphere, lots of locals and friendly waitresses. You can't miss out on this fun experience, back to the fifties!

Went for breakfast and sat at the counter and enjoyed every minute. The diner really is an old metal real diner. The food was outstanding and the menu had the old standards as well as some very creative dishes. Colored papers cover a wall with descriptions of the specials. A wonderful experience if you want to go to a real... More

Stepping into the Blue Benn is like an episode of "Diners Drive-ins and Dives" on the Foodnetwork. The place does not have much curb appeal and it's small, so you will likely have to wait if you want a booth as seating is limited if you don't want to sit at the counter. I felt like a deer in the... More
