Fabulous Restaurant - Great food and service!

Used TripAdvisor to find this restaurant and was not disappointed! Nice atmosphere, fantastic staff, very disappointing food for the money. There are 2 different menus, the 'lounge' and the dining room, but our waiter allowed us to sit in the dining room and order from the lounge menu. The stationmaster burger was a little dry and the B&R nachos were made using the mass produced multi-colored chips that aren't very... More

The restaurant is in the old train station the setting is really nice. The food was ok they try to be really fancy but they are not quite there, the salad bar was the best. My wife had Salmon it was supposed to come with potato pancake but they were hash browns. Our waitress Tammy was really good, if you... More

Nice salad bar with homemade salads. A small bar in the back with all the cocktails you could concoct. Seating is plentiful, service is swift and servers are knowledgeable.

This is an amazing space. Converted RR station is now a first class restaurant. We were seated in the "Glass Room" which was originally the entrance to the station. We stopped for lunch thinking we would get a sandwich and an iced tea. When we saw the price of the plated lunches it was an easy choice, Pesto Brick Chicken... More

Haven't been to this restaurant in over 16 years (and several owners ago). Took an afternoon drive and wound up in Bennington, 2 hours later. Had an excellent meal, starting with the Clams Casino. Have always enjoyed the ambiance of this immaculately restored RR station, as I have a family connection back to when it was a working depot for... More

We had dinner here and the location is lovely, with the history inside the menu to educate you about the building. There was a woman playing lovely piano music while we ate which was a perfect accompaniment to the food. The salad bar is excellent with top quality ingredients, the menu is loaded with good selections, and we chose some... More

Do not hesitate but go straight to Bennington Station if you want a great meal & wonderful service. Tammy, our server was a joy, very attentive. The food was incredible. I had the prime pork chop (second best I ever had) & my husband had the Tom Turkey. We finished with the triple layer chocolate cake. Wish we had discovered... More

The Station was recommended to us after attending one the Hemmings Thursday evening cruise nights. We went in with no expectations and we were very happy with our findings. Veronica was a perfect server as was the maître d'. I had the $20 Blackened Sirloin and found it to be perhaps the best cut of sirloin I've ever had. Salad... More

This is a beautifully restored train station. The addition of Irish Larry Kernagis for music made a wonderful combination. I hope they have him again soon. The food was good and I would go back there for a big party or a special occasion, including to hear the Irish music again.
