No longer open

I loved this place in the summer 2013, but sadly it is no longer open. South street cafe and brown cow are good alternative options for cafés with wifi

Wandering around Bennington for a day and we stopped by for a sandwich and hot drink. We weren't disappointed! We would definitely eat there again if we are in the area!

We were starving when we pulled into Bennington and were looking for a lunch spot before we headed over to Old Bennington. This place hit the spot! Totally laid back place, and the food was really good. The turkey, cranberry, and avocado sandwich was delicious. And get the soup, you won't be disappointed! There is a store that adjoins the... If you are driving through Bennington this place is worth the stop. Plain but very good local resturant that cannot be replaced by the large chains... I'm sure the money earned there stays in Bennngton. That's a big deal.... By the way the food is great! Liam & Colleen New York

I went here twice in two days, both times during non-peak hours. The atmosphere was relaxing, unpretentious, and friendly. I had a latte one day, a moccacino (by special request) the next, and both were proficiently prepared. The homestyle soup and sandwich were ver good, and the array of baked goods in the display case was tempting. We shared a... More

Quiet, out of the way, the atmosphere and the dishes are as refined and calm as the owner. Enjoy a relaxing lunch.

not only was it terrible service, they overcharged us for our food and didn't apologize or fix their mistake when we pointed it out. They didn't give us what we ordered and were very clueless. never going here again, save yourselves.

Food is fresh..HOMEMADE...and ALWAYS Delish!! Never mind usually healthy and organic when she can have it....its just DARN GOOD. Another sweet homemade (& healthy) touch instead of chips with your sandwich Kim always gives you apple slices. I LUV it!! Cozy relaxed atmosphere and yes sometimes takes a little longer but..its NOT a FAST food joint...you want processed food fast..go... More

It looked like a cute & cozy cafe, but they either were having an off day or they are just not what they seem. The gentleman behind the counter was polite, but obviously overwhelmed by the lunch crowd. Orders were not given to the kitchen in a timely manner or in the order they were taken. I work in food... A lovely spot, with friendly and attentive staff. It is a counter service deli that is not in a hurry. Able to individualize orders, etc. baked good looked great, but I skipped them this time!
