Much more than a cozy little restaurant, Archibald's at Gardner Village in West Jordan, Utah is a place rich in atmosphere and local history.

The main ingredient of our restaurant began over 130 years ago, when Archibald Gardner -- truly a "mover and shaker" of his day -- built this flour mill. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building is home to Archibald's Restaurant and CF Home at Gardner Village.

At Archibald's, you'll find a menu designed with care, imagination and flavor as timeless as old Archibald.

Not great

Service was not great, neither was the food. Definitely do NOT get the Thousand Island Dressing. It isn't. The whole Gardner's village kids thing park makes it close, but a 45 minute wait for what we got? Nope. Dining room was full of kids, some crying, some screaming. This old curmudgeon... read more

I have eaten at Archibalds at least a dozen times, hoping the food will be better the next time around. But if anything, it has gotten progressively worse with each visit. The Lemon Pasta I've had luck with twice. That's not saying a lot since I've ordered it at least 8 times, hoping I'd get lucky with it's awesome flavor... More

Gardner Village turned out to be a great place to spend an afternoon with my wife, walking around and just looking at shops. We were hungry, so we went to Archibald's. After a short wait (about 5-10 minutes), we were seated. We placed a drink order, and then a manager (maybe?) came by and said to a nearby waitress, "You... More

I have been to this restaurants several times with my families and also for my law firm's Christmas parties every year. The main dining floor has pretty decor that can entertain your eyes while waiting for your food, the restaurant staffs are always very friendly and helpful with guests. They have a larger round-shaped room for private parties or events.... More

I've lived in Midvale for 8 years and this was my first time at Archibald's. Now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long! My husband suggested we stop there for an early lunch on Saturday. Worst food today at Archibalds. Out of 5 people, 2 received edible fare. My mothers quiche looked awful with cold, coagulated gravy and a very limp, tasteless salad. My sister's prime rib sandwich was skimpy and very dried out , dark meat- like pieces that we thought was liver! They came with a SPRINKLING. Of French fries which the waitress... More

This restaurant is located on an historic site. They have used the original building for the restaurant and gift shop. There is now a whole little village of small houses and buildings surrounding the original grist mill that sell different fun stuff. Towards the back of the large piece of land, they have constructed a "barn" that is used for... More
