As most people staying in Vernal, we didn't know where to go for lunch, so we checked out Trip Advisor and headed for Betty's. Small parking lot with lots of cars in it, we went in. This is s breakfast/lunch place, so the menu is mostly breakfast and sandwich fare. My husband got a hot hamburger sandwich. The meal came... More

Every time we pass through Vernal on our way to somewhere, we always stop at Betty's for breakfast or lunch. This time it was for lunch. Sandi had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and I had the French Dip. The food was excellent as usual. We unfortunately arrived just after noon but the wait staff had things well under control. They... More

We found Betty's Café on Trip advisor. When you travel a lot going to a restaurant is always a 50-50 chance bad or good. I ordered an omelet which was good. But let just say I have eaten Pancakes across the States but none like this. It was golden brown , light tasting, they drizzle butter on it then it... More

Betty's Cafe was across the street from our motel. We like small diners so thought we would give Betty's a try for breakfast. Both of us ordered the chili cheese omelet. This was somebody's idea of chili, just not ours. The chili was a sweet, vegetarian style neither one of us liked. We both turned down the fried potatoes so we... More

Stopped in with my wife during a visit to Dinosaur Natl Monument. We were staying in Manila, which has a poor selection of restaurants. We were happy with our lunch at Betty's ... it's nothing fancy but we didn't expect an elegant diner. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Burgers were good, homemade fries were excellent and bountiful. Over three... More

The atmosphere here is what impressed me. The table is inlaid with advertisments for local businesses. Coffee is served in mugs with local company logos and trademarks on them. I really liked the logo on my mug of coffee. There was nothing wrong with the home cooked food and buscuits. The potatoes were very thin sliced; and browned to a... More

Small diner which are usually great little finds, but we were very disappointed. Service was excellent, but food was sub-par. Flies everywhere. YUK!!! I cannot recommend and will not return.

Good food, locals love it but tourists find it a little overwhelming because it is a very small place.small.

Had to be one of the worst meals my husband and I have ever had. It wasnt worth half the price we were billed. our table was dirty and there was a flim of slime or grease on the seats. I assume our service was bad because we are not locals because we watched the locals get their food right... More

This has to win the worst food in the US award and I couldn't even eat it. The potatoes were so greasy you couldn't even taste a potato. While we were sitting there waiting forever for our food we heard locals make jokes about cooking the many flies in there and I didn't find the remarks very funny. I also... More
