This is your basic diner, prettily done up in red and blue. My husband loved it when we walked in and saw the sign, “Keep your hands off the waitress.” Wouldn't you know, we got a waiter -- but he had the same off-the-wall sense of humor, which pretty much gives you a feel for the place. Very down home... More

Based on TA's advice that this is the #2 restaurant in Vernal, we went for lunch, expecting a good meal. Perhaps we made a mistake by not ordering a BBQ item. Betty's burger was an interesting concept, ham, two cheeses, but added calories without adding much taste. The French dip sandwich was OK but nothing special. The fries were really... More

There aren't many options in this small town and we didn't want to eat at a chain. We went to Betty's Cafe and had the pulled pork sandwich and the beef brisket sandwich - both were great as were the sides. The server was very friendly and we enjoyed this diner. It was pretty empty at dinner time. Go, you... More

We stopped by chance at Betty's for an early dinner on our way through Vernal to Park City. What a pleasant surprise! The pulled pork sandwich and each of the sides hit the spot after being on the road for 4 hours...AND the biscuits and jam were so delicious that we bought a dozen to go. A definite stop if... More

I'd been there in the past and the food was fine. The last time I stopped in with a buddy we ordered breakfast for lunch (I thought breakfast was quicker) and then waited for just under an hour. That wouldn't have been so bad had the server said something like, "Hey sorry guys we're short staffed in the kitchen today,... More

While I love a greasy breakfast, this was ridiculous.Overpriced, tiny portions, too greasy, poor service (but that's all of Vernal), not very clean. Disappointed and not returning. Not recommending.

It is slowly going down hill. It used to be the best place in town. Service was awful. Did not bring coffee. Did not bring other drinks. Food was cold. Took forever to get food. Did not get all of our food. Don't know what happened.

Perfect hangover breakfast. Greasy potatoes, great omelettes, and one of two authentic chicken fried steaks you can get in town. Can be hard to get a table in peak hours.

We decided to go to Betty's on a whim ... The food was good ... The service was great (super friendly servers) ... Betty's has small town mom and pop feel to it. If you ask the answe would be yes we will go back.
