Many locals speak highly of Betty's, but I find it's the same as any other greasy spoon. However if you want a pie, and can get there before it closes at like 1pm, this is the best pie in town. Expect normal breakfast foods and little unique to it. Have been here many times.

Betty's Cafe was recommended by a Vernal resident. We went for lunch (the diner is only open until 2 PM.) It is a typical 'hometown diner.' The food was pretty good, and the staff and server were awesome and very helpful and friendly. Overall positive experience.

Small place on the highway. Crowded both times we ate there. Food is a bit greasy but that is what you get from a greasy spoon/diner. We will be back. The male server / waiter was great.

In a town of few choices I wish I could tell you that this place was good but the food only stayed in my system for a few hours. It was greasy both times I ate there. The waiter is a good old guy and was apologetic about the wait and even the grease on the food but at the... More

I heard about this place and tried it out last week. My breakfast was covered in grease... and I did not order anything fried. My pancakes were coated in grease. Avoid this place.

Right in the middle of town so it is situated close to most of the hotels in Vernal. very popular morning spot so the wait was not a surprise but the size of the dining area and the number of tables was a surprise. Once you get a table the menu is large with lots of choices and the food... More

Stopped in to have breakfast. Small 'local' cafe is normally a good bet for a good breakfast. Wong! Not here. The 'home fried' potatoes were drenched in grease, not one of us ate them. The same was true of our omelettes - greasy. The restaurant floor was very dirty. Worst breakfast I've ever had, and I mean ever had! We... More

Better than JB's... But that doesn't say much. Pancakes were good and the coffee is plentiful. Good waiter. Took too long to sit down and to get the food after we ordered but the food was good.

If the review was only on the food I would have hit four stars but... the parking is bad. Don't go between 7 am and 9 am when the place is jammed with gas and oil workers and go to the restroom before you get to Betty's. It is a popular place so waiting for a table was understandable but... More

While our server was very nice, the service was amazingly slow. I had to ask repeatedly for coffee. She didn't check back on our food until I was finished eating. The food.....the potatoes were horribly greasy, could not eat them. My kids loved the chicken noodle soup and fry bread. The booth next to us had a broken seat but... More
