Friendly, quick, good service! Dinner was cold & expense for what you get, but the only game in town...

We gave this place a try hoping for the best. Unfortunately, we didn't get it. We both ordered half racks of their ribs which came with vegetables and choice of salad or potato. The salad was actually pretty good - crisp. The ribs were inconsistent - mine were ok buy my wife's were mostly gristle. The vegetables (carrots and green... More

Had a grilled chicken salad for lunch, came with either fries or side salad. Big portions, very good and reasonably priced. In town of Tropic, not far from Bryce Canyon.

Yummy licious chicken quesadias (sorry about my atrocious spelling) - a half order was HUGE - fresh, melt in your mouth. Wonderful fresh lemon in my water. Server pleasant, efficient. Fun, readable, laugh out loud books at each table. Don't miss this charming restaurant attached to market in Tropic - perfect for your hike to Mossey Cave or Bryce Canyon... More

I had one dinner and two breakfasts there, because the hotel next to it has their bfst provided by Clark's. The dinner was ok, I had a very nice waitress, very friendly. I chose the fresh trout and I have to say it was fantastic! Really fresh and a large size. The veggies that came with it were really disappointing,... More

We drove from our hotel in Cannonville (4 miles away) to eat here. Service was good. My husband had steak which was fine, and I had the trout which was delicious. However, it was served with carrots and beans which were of the frozen variety. My husband had the BaBa dark beer which he liked and I had an Australian... More

We had dinner at this place as there was only this or pizza. Since I don't like pizza, we ended up at Clarke's. The food was not very good. The bread was awful. We love bread and this was the very first time ever, we couldn't eat bread that was served. Service was not any better. The waitress was absent... More

We thought about going to the Stone Hearth Grille but felt under-dressed, so we opted for Clarke's. The food was fine and service was fine, but the price for a burger seemed high. For the money, I'd change clothes and go back to Stone Hearth.

We went here for dinner one night and breakfast on another day. There really isn't much choice in Tropic. The decor is rundown cowboy. The place probably hasn't been redecorated since the 50's. The staff that work here are all extremely friendly. I have no complaints with the service. The food, though, is nothing special. I had a hamburger for... More

Great trout, looking and tasting a bit like salmon. also, the local beers are definitely a better option than the wine selection. BaBa dark was delicious
