I stayed this motel in busy season, so I knew it needs some additional cost... But the room were smelled old and dirty PLUS there were many bedbug. I paid about $80 for the room but it was ridiculous. My opinion is, if you can book the room - w/o bedbug - less than $45 at busiest season, you will... More

This was a great place to stay: inexpensive and clean. No complaints at all. We were more mesmerized by the size of Tropic... very small! We arrived late at night and everything was closed except for the trailer Cowboy Grill... we had fantastic burgers under the stars. Continental breakfast the next morning at Bryce Pioneer Village was ideal. Plenty of... More

We enjoyed relaxing on the front lawn, using the tether ball, and sitting under the lovely gazebo. The breakfast provided was limited, but it pretty much met our needs. An older gentleman at the front desk was very helpful when I requested additional shampoo. I didn't reserve/pay for this booking and from what I have read, its one of the cheaper... More

I am not a very picky person..but..this place was terrible in every way.. The rooms were small and smelled old and dirty. The linens were torn and stained and looked as old as the rooms, which is no compliment. The blonde girl at the front desk was an absolute snob to me and my children when we asked for extra... More

We rolled into town and made the mistake of grabbing the first place we found after having found two places with no vacancies closer to the park. When you are travelling on the fly it is not always easy finding a place. The lights in the hallway were not on, and wouldn't be turned on until the maintenance man got... More

The first thing to know is that your options for lodging in this area are not limited to the kitschy, outrageously priced, Disneyland-esque fakery of "Bryce City." There's plenty of lodging in Tropic, which is only about 7 miles down the road. Once you get to Tropic, however, choose anything other than Pioneer Village. Our experience: Checkin is at 2:00pm,... We visited this rustic motel in late April 2012 and they were just getting started on their active season. Our "cabin" did not have hot water, only warm, but we went to the office and told them and they came right over and turned the temperature up. The phone in our room did not work, the TV had so much... More
