Surprised at the fact Utah has such a big Hispanic population. That helped with the flavors in this places dishes. Great house made salsa too. Plus they have alcohol.

The chips and salsa are the best around! Can't get enough! Also love the fajitas, Mahalo & Alamo Quesadilla. Very good food for the price.

I believe the true measure of a Mexican Food place is how good the chips and salsa are. Frankly, I can't stop eating them so I am full by the time the meal gets to me. The main course is always hot and portions are huge but I never have enough room because I eat too many chips/salsa. This is... More

We kind of got off to a bad start here in that because a eating restrictions, my wife always orders a ground been enchilada ala carte when we dine at a Mexican Restaurant. Our waitress, Stacy, informed her that the enchilada would be the same as a full meal because they did not do ala carte. This is a rare... More

Atmosphere isn't the greatest because this is a former bar, but the food is very tasty. Mexican, well prepared with good sized servings. On the north side of Springville. Head south a ways and visit the Springville Museum of Art. Fantastic collection of paintings in a Spanish style large building with an interesting history. Best of all, it's free, thanks... More

My wife & I love to head down for an evening meal. We have never been disappointed at the food. It is provided quickly and service is great. We especially like the chips & salsa. Meals have plenty of food and refillable drinks. Prices are reasonable. It is a favorite of the locals.

As for economic mex its not. But I do enjoy their food. I wish the salsa wasn't so hot. That the seats were more padded, and that they had zero drinks, like sprite zero. The chips are the best in state. If you plan on nachos then you better bring 2 friends.

I was one of three friends getting together for lunch. I arrived first--the other two were running a few minutes late. There is a bench for people to wait on, but it was occupied, so I asked the hostess if I could be seated (there were a lot of empty tables). She would not seat me until the others arrived.... More

I had the half bandito and my friend had the fish tacos. Nasty. The fish tacos had a side of what tasted like italian dressing. Weird. We both said McDonald's would have been better. It was cheap enough and the service was good. The only redeeming food item was the chips and salsa, which was actually quite good.
