Glad we came across this

I have to say we loved this little place. We asked to sit in the Casbah Room with low couches and stools drapped in embroidered fabrics. The ceiling was flowing with fabric and lanterns around the room making it an authentic experience. The tables have heavy carved brass trays on top where you are... read more

We went for a lunch buffet at this place. I found very high ratings for this place in the web and decided to eat here during our visit to Salt Lake City area. The lunch buffet is $9.99 (very reasonable). There were not very number of items in the buffet. I always prefer quality over quantity so thought the food... More

This is a little treasure in the middle of Salt Lake City. Homemade hummus is outstanding. Get the mezza plate it is amazing. The entire experience was wonderful. Great food and the best meal we had in Salt Lake!

Come just for the baklava... Rice pudding... Mango juice... Curry chicken... We actually came for the buffet because it is always delicious and fresh! I can't emphasize enough what an amazing cultural experience it was. Great ambience and service was icing on the cake of this culinary dark horse.

This was the first time that I had been there. The staff (especially our waiter) was fantastic! I want to go back again!

My husband and I ate there for lunch on a Monday holiday. The restaurant was not busy, and I was a little worried about the freshness of my food. But, everything was made to order, and the vegetables were very fresh. I had the lamb kabob, and it was cooked perfectly! My husband had the beef shawarma, and it was... More

I'm not from Salt Lake City so I've only eaten here once. The hummus was terrific and the Lamb Tagine was spectacular. The service was good and we chatted with the owner for a while after we ate and he was very friendly. If I'm ever back in SLC this is the one restaurant I MUST go to again.

Walking in the door, we were impressed - attentive service, nice decor, nice music. The menu looked good, too. Then the meal came - right off the steam table in the kitchen with no flavor or spices. Won't be back.

I ate at Cedar's of Lebanon for the first time in 1999. I have never been disappointed. Their Yalla Vegan Platter is amazing and they serve up some of the best falafel I've ever had. I am going there again tonight for dinner and I am super excited about it. Some of the reviews say the service is slow, but... More

Husband and I went for dinner because we wanted to try something new. Our server was friendly, but was a bit inattentive to our drink levels (it was hot outside and we downed our waters fairly quickly, which he didn't seem to notice for a few minutes). The food was fantastic, I got the chicken pastilla which was delicious! We... More
