Dinner on a nice spot

We had a quick dinner with a few friends. The location of this restaurant is amazing. Nicely decorated for christmas looks like a castle. The food was good. Great wine list. Didn't have time for dessert. Very nice!

Valet ruined a great night for me, I wasn't aware there would be forced valet, but took that in stride, I don't mind paying for valet, but I don't really like letting others in my car, so I usually avoid valet. Anyway I was informed there would be a $6 "house fee" the valet called it for the service. OK,... More

We took our family here for Christmas Eve dinner. The restaurant was decorated and looked magical. We made reservations 4 months in advance with the understanding that we would be seated near friends; we were assured that would be noted. A phone call 2 days prior to our night, confirmed our reservations and it was noted about our seating preferences.... More

This place is class from the moment you turn into the gated entrance, up the lighted driveway, and to the valet-parked entrance. It feels like you are visiting a french chateau. The atmosphere inside is even more impressive with tasteful decor, warm lighting and views of the patio outside. The food was very good but there is some room for... More

It has been awhile since I had been to this restaurant. Apparently the ownership has changed since my previous visit and the quality has definitely gone downhill. The price for the buffet which was very average was way overpriced. I had expected a buffet with attendants slicing turkey and roast beef. Instead I felt like I was at a Sizzler... More

La Caille has long been the "go to" place for both romantic meals and small business meetings in the Salt Lake City area due to its fine cuisine and outstanding ambiance. I therefore recently jumped to the opportunity to accept an invitation to speak there, and was delighted to see that in the several years since my last visit little... More

La Caille is beautiful! The service was excellent (and the servers no longer wear revealing French attire, which we appreciated!). We enjoyed the cheese board, especially the fig jam, the garden salad (which was delicious!) and the best lobster bisque we have both ever had. The flavors were perfectly complimentary and amazing.Compliments to the chef on those! We were both,... More

La Caille will delight all of the senses, from the first moment you arrive. The beautiful cobblestone drive leads you to an extraordinary French Château, where you will be greeted by a friendly valet to park your car. An exquisite scene awaits, both inside and out. The restaurant is surrounded by vineyards. Peacocks roam the property. Gorgeous decor inside, in... More

The food was good, the setting was fantastic! I loved my seafood fumet, but did not like the roasted cauliflower. My husband loved his Lemon Thyme Brine Chicken. We both loved the Boston Salad with heirloom tomato. The presentation was beautiful, the staff and service were AMAZING. I will definitely go again, but next time, I want to go earlier... More
