Last night, on a recent business trip to SLC, I had the opportunity to take a group of five the La Caille restaurant. I couldn't have made a better choice. The expectation for the night was set as soon as we turned on to the red brick, tree lined drive to the restaurant and then the deal was sealed when... More

A beautiful grounds - making this a truly FULL MONTY dining experience. From the super kind valet to park the car - to a short pre dinner walk of the grounds in day light, to a cocktail in a small but most pleasant little bar with some GREAT beers... and equally great patrons who befriended us within minutes... to the... The ambiance is phenomenal. You drive up a cobblestone drive, past peacocks, deer and geese. You pull up to a beautiful french chateau with immaculate details. The meal is very continental and excellent. I highly recommend it.

We attended a wedding held here not too long ago. The food and service was fantastic, but what really was over the top impressive was the grounds, lighting and landscaping. I don't know if I have seen a nicer setting outside of a 4 or 5 star resort. Just gorgeous.

The grounds at La Caille are absolutely amazing. It is well landscaped and provides a welcoming feel as you walk and tour all there is to see. Exotic animals roaming the grounds also make for an interesting experience. The restaurant itself is quite large and makes you feel as though you're dining in a castle. Depending on where you're seated... More

http://retireforthefunofit.com/elegant-french-chateau-france/ Photos and story about our Sunday Brunch at La Caile. We celebrated the fifth anniversary of our daughter and son-in-law at the site of their wedding. La Caille was a memorable place for the wedding and the Sunday brunch was a wonderful way to enjoy a summer day at a beautiful place.

Went for the Sunday brunch and it was to die for. Great food but even better atmosphere. We sat on the patio. A mother peacock and her babies kept visiting us. After the meal we walked around the grounds which were beautiful. Felt like we were on a European estate. For sure will be back.

The atmosphere at La Caille is worth the price tag for a very special occasion. The food was good, but would not rate such a high price elsewhere. The service was also good. I look forward to returning for a weekend brunch and stroll around the amazing grounds.

It always amazes me how La Caille was conceived many years ago. It truly is unique and defines what is meant by a true "dining experience". Expensive yes. Better food elsewhere - sure. However, you would be hard pressed to find another place that offers a beautiful restaurant, amazing landscaped grounds with ponds, streams and a river, peacocks wandering the... More

Don't get me wrong, La Caille is a wonderful concept - a huge property that has ponds, waterfalls, shrubs carved into animal shapes, peacocks, etc. - but what it offers in atmosphere it lacks in value. We went for an evening dinner recently and started off with house salads with artisan tomatoes - pretty run -of-the-mill. They brought out some... More
