I have eaten there twice. Pulled pork, ribs, polish sausage, all good, fresh. Decent prices. Fast service. I really liked the green beans. Go figure.

After living in Texas and moving back to Utah the thing we missed the most is really good BBQ. So glad Sonny Bryan's has come to us! The atmosphere is wonderful, just like Texas. The food is excellent right down to the hot out of the oven rolls.

You will leave smelling like smoke, but it's worth it. The sides are divine, the meats delicious, the Frito pie is amazing, and the rolls are addictive. Takeout is hit and miss as to the proportion of meats selected (family meals). Everything else is usually spot-on.

This is a nice small restaurant with quality meat and fast service. I suggest the sandwich with two sides. Easy to reach from the interstate and just off state street a major street south of the Sandy mall.

Very friendly greeting and service. You can try anything but ribs before ordering. Terrific ribs, brisket, pulled pork and sausage. Side salad was fresh. We will be coming back!

Best BBQ you are going to get in the entire state if not surrounding states. I'm from Texas...as is Sonny Bryan's...but this is the BEST barbeque. You can buy jars of their sauce to take with you. Delicious. I am stuck on the pulled pork stuffed potato but my hubby always gets the ribs. Their onion rings and fried okra... More

Enjoyed our recent visit to Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse. Simple place for eating in or for carrying out. When we saw that they had a beer license, we ate in. (BBQ without beer is not BBQ.) Sampler plates featured excellent sausages (both regular and jalapeno), good brisket, just ok pulled pork. Sides included fried okra, which is a nice treat. Not... More

We have visited Sonny Bryans many times and each time had a great experience. Line moved quickly and service was knowledgeable and friendly. We were served quickly and the food was good, as always. The onion rings are a group favorite of ours. The turkey is also on my list to have each visit. Not crazy about the mac &... More

Sonny Bryan's takes me back to the 4 years I lived in Texas, except that it's too new and too clean to feel authentic. However, the meat tastes authentic. Surprisingly (since BBQ in Texas means beef), the best item on the menu is the ribs. But the meat is good and the sides are also good. I rated this as... More
