I ate at Samurai 21 while on a recent trip to Utah. This place was actually recommended by my ex-wife. Given the fact that she is a discerning sushi fan, I decided to try it. I was there on a quiet evening, so I decided to sit at the sushi bar. Before long, I had struck up a conversation with... More

Plenty of steamed, grilled veggies to go along with ample portions of shrimp and chicken. It did help that one individual in another family did not want the veggies, so they were divvied up among the rest of us. The provided sauces were a refreshing change from the usual soy sauce (also available) and were filled without having to request... More

The service was amazing! We had a large party for hibachi, the cook was fun and engaging. The owner visited the table and was hilarious, as was the server. However, the sushi was seriously lacking.

I like Japanese food. I eat it frequently. I just so happened to be on a car trip and stayed over in St. George and saw this restaurant. My husband and I were stunned at how wonderful the food and service were in this small town. My particular dish was a house specialty: Candied Walnut Shrimp. I usually expect 8-10... More

Samurai 21 is going downhill fast. We had a gift certificate from there and went in to use it and were rudly told by the new manager that they weren't honoring their gift certificates any more. Can you believe that? The gift certificate had no expiration date on it and we are out the money. The food used to be... More

The place seems to be losing it's pizzazz. The chef's are still pretty good, but our favorite guy must not be there anymore. We haven't seen him the last couple times. We have since gone to other restaurants like Benja and Sakura.

I really enjoy eating at samurai 21. The hibachi grill is always fun....unless you get a dull chef. That seems to happen often to us. But, when we get a fun chef, the dinner just gets better. The food is good. I really enjoy their fried rice and teriyaki noodles. I'm not a sushi fan, but I hear they have... More

There is alot of choices of places to eat in St. George. Samurai 21 is one of them. If you are traveling thru it's easy to find, not far from the 15. It's one of my wife's favorite places to eat in St. George. We live in SoCal. get the noodles, they are great!
